Several Aussies were interested in coming to the states when we talked about the various firearms I have. They told me I should go to Tasmania, said the folks there were a bit more of a hillbilly like myself
Well not so sure about Tasmania. You might end up a prime Manchurian candidate if you were to heed such advice. But the Aussies interested in your various firearms would enjoy a much safer haven in your nation than down here in the land of OZ.

Mo thank you. Quite a bundle of happy children you have there. Times like that I’m sure you wish you had six arms : )
Ling31,
I would have to be an Octopus to have enough arms for my sons and grandchildren.
I have another son and he has 2 of his own and 2 bonus children all under the age of 11.
But thank you just the same.

hello greetings to all another sojourner from doomsday prepper
Using the word sojourner in that context beats saying refugee. ;)
But then I get the double meaning and it’s applicable here too.

Welcome from Michigan. The more the merrier when it comes to likeminded individuals.

OldSchool yes you right. I only be sojourning this earthly abode. My true citizenship does belong to another realm. I hope for you too. Thank you for your warm greetings. 👩🏻

Frosty thank you. I hope well
All good here. I’m busy working on my retreat, finishing a second cabin in case the next pandemic is a real one.

Frosty your outback abode does look very beautiful & homily. How do you fare with the pandemic of bush fires in the dryer mths . Your allowed to burn off ? Or is that done by the Forestry department

I just keep the area around the cabin clear of trees and the grass short. There are some trees uphill, behind the cabin that I will thin out when I get the chance.

Yes that’s what I was some concerned about the surrounding trees up on the higher hill. Still I like the home. A veranda and bedroom with a view to enjoy the evening and morning freshness of life everyday

Magus pandas be rather exclusive to their habitat. I sure if there be a abundant supply of bamboo stick amongst the hill billies and the off grid folk. Than I sure you right : )!
We've used it for bean-poles and fishing canes for as long as its been here, but only recently, like in my lifetime, have we taken to eating the tasty little shoots.
