They are around here big time. Now I know where they came from! Keep them there!

@buildit is teaching @Fort how to shift from neutral to first gear on that Bike!
That would be by downshifting once. ;)

I already have my motorcycle license. I do know how to get it into first, second, etc. and how to get it into neutral. ;)

Don't even pretend that. Just been busy. With my part time work I've been getting behind on other projects like reloading and painting. But until the weather gets better the testing of the reloads is on hold. But today I got a ton of painting done and finished all the downstairs ceilings which means the whole downstairs has been painted. Also since I'm not out of paint that project is done.
@Fort Has been busy with her own projects and getting ready to pick up her new motorcycle. She is getting her feet wet in the art of the deal and playing the game with salesmen. In time that will benefit her greatly when she needs to barter for repairs with people.
@Double R I hope the new calf is doing well.
@gumpy I remember seeing 40 cal and 38cal snake loads at Cabelas. I only ever tried .22LR rounds but I wonder if the others would be too dangerous on rocky ground where the shot could ricochet at close range?
I've used the shot shells with 9mm and .45 without any ricochet problems. Used on gravel, dirt, rock, and water.

Define "partying." ;D:D

The good news: I have ordered my motorcycle!! I just have to pick it up and pay for the rest of it besides the deposit. I got a good deal and I got the year/color that I wanted.

The crazy news: I had to go to urgent care yesterday (Sunday) morning for a rash that I first noticed on Saturday night. It is some sort of dermatitis/reaction and appears to be poison ivy or poison oak (which doesn't make a lot of sense).

The other good news: The prednisone has worked remarkably well in getting the rash under control and mostly gone already.
The oil from poison oak, ivy, etc. is active for up to 7 years! My wife is highly allergic to it. I'm lucky in it's never bothered me.

Evening @Fort
How are you? Congrats on the bike. Sorry about the rash.
Not ignoring everyone. Calving problems I had to take care of.
Good luck and hope all goes well for y'all!

How did that painting problem turn out? What was the problem? If you posted I didn't see it.
I'm thinking about painting over some 1970's dark paneling. I'm horrible with paint, a friend says I'm the most dangerous man alive with a can of spray paint! :D I'm hoping to avoid the problem you had. :)
So far the repaint is fine and I've found other spots that flaked off when rubbed but none that tore off as sheets. No idea what was on the old paint that caused it but apparently removing as much of the paint as possible and washing it with acetone made it better. Still maintain a paint advertised as self priming and not requiring prep shouldn't peal like that on a bedroom wall. I could see it if it was a entry wall where people were leaving oily hand prints or lots of dirt but it wasn't. So I'll know better than to buy Bahr paints next time. The olympic paint is thin and needs multiple coats to cover but then it looks good, doesn't show rub and scuff marks the way the Bahr paint does and is half the price.

Sweet dreams Ms Fort! Sorry I couldn’t be on and chat more. Busy season for me.
Sounds like the new calf is in the good hands of "RR midwife". ;-) I'm hoping this will be an easy week where I can get away with just two days of work (Tuesday /Wednesday). If so I'll try to stay up late (past 8pm your time) Thursday or Friday to catch you online. :mugbump:

Today is looking nice outside so far. Didn't see any Coyotes out this morning, or should I just say since I got my new 308 sited in I haven't seen ANY coyotes? I'll go clean up in a bit and then go work out at the gym. If the wind is reasonable I hope to chrono the 8 reloads I did so I can have two recipes for reloading 308 rounds.

So before I go thought I'd share my fossil shelf I but up last night now that the painting is done. Horn Corals, Crinoidea and Fossil Fern leaves from 120 million years ago. This is how old geologist make themselves feel young.;D:rolleyes::D
Looks like I forgot this....

@Double R have to say your new avatar is racist. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...shreena-gandhi-racism-professor-a8185206.html To top it off it is a cow doing yoga and that would offend the Hindu, of course I am teasing but it gives me a good chance to share the news clipping about how extreme it is getting out there... frightening .... I am so glad God is in control because it seems at times the inmates run the asylum

And the foxes are guarding the hen house. So up is the only way to go.

@Amish Heart

If you let their population build up you will notice an improvement in your garden or with house plants... :) They are little aphid eating machines. But then you have to deal with them in your house. I have no idea how they get in my house. :(

I've never seen so many Lady Bugs as we have had in past few years. Strange. They must really thrive on chem trails.

I'm sitting here on pins and needles. My sister was admitted into the hospital last night with her stage 4 cancer coming to an end. At the same time my daughter is delivering a premie baby this morning via "c" section and may have complications. All I can go is say everything is in God's hands and wait for results.

Wow! I'm glad to hear that mother and baby are OK. Prayers for them and your sister.

Half our prayers have been answered. Mom and baby are healthy.

Major prayers and warm hugs sent your way!
