She is adorable!!!Thanks for everyone for the well wishes. Here is my granddaughter Devon, who was delivered at 8 months, since mom developed cholestasis. All is healthy and the plumbing is working just fine. As far as my sister, the news is not so good. She is still in the hospital, heavily sedated, and trying to decide if anything else could be done to prolong her life. View attachment 3983

Congratulations Grandpa!!
I am sorry about your sister. I lost my Mom to cancer and I know this is a tough time for you and your family. I will keep y'all in my prayers.

I'm so sorry about your daughter. My wife and I prayed for her, baby, and rest of family last night and this morning. Sounds like it's more in God's hands than the doctors. Thanks for everyone for the well wishes. Here is my granddaughter Devon, who was delivered at 8 months, since mom developed cholestasis. @gumpy I'm pretty sure you're not still up. So, in a few hours, welcome to a new day!
I'm still up, symptoms... It would take a sledge hammer to get me to sleep now!
Reminds me on pics of myself and my sister, we were 8 years apart. In some ways it made us closer as there was less direct competition for material items you see between siblings who are closer in age. In other ways it made us further apart as I was an adult doing adult thing while she was still in school. As adults we have a pretty good relationship but definitely live our own lives.Just got this pic. Brother and sister smiling at each otherView attachment 4013 for the first time
Awww! Melts my heart! I thought the baby was your 1st. How many grandbabies do you have?Just got this pic. Brother and sister smiling at each otherView attachment 4013 for the first time
Each one special, too!! We have 8..She is my 4th, and I have one more step grandchild, so a total of 5 gk's.
I just learned to add all the grandkids into my contacts on my cell phone. I scroll down to add their birthdays, so every year, I get a notification on my calendar so I don't miss their special days.

I have 14 grandkids and one great-grandson. I need to win the PowerBall before the next round of birthdays and Christmas.
