And don't forget the chocolate cream pie shrubs.
Howdy gang.
Hey Mr. Squirrel! Hows things in the hood? How's the ducks?
Well been sort of rough the last week or so. As for the ducks,I got tired of the dominate drakes always chasing the hen of the "odd couple" and them never getting to use the pond because of it and having to play "duck tennis" every night when I was putting them up. So I gave the "odd couple" to my neighbor. That leaves me 5 ducks and the 3 geese. 2 of the ducks have health issues but I doubt a vet could do much, plus with having to get the cat fixed, right now I don't have the money.Hey Mr. Squirrel! Those are more challenging to hunt,I like that .Good morning, Meerkat.
I think I ate too many small peppermint patties last night. Chocolate is like coffee to me and I was posting here like a nervous squirrel.

We have two drive ins in my vicinity. Both are in seedy parts of town and would not feel comfortable going. The new walk ins have recliners and cocktails. Comfy but expensive.
Good Morning! There is a drive in not too far away from me in another small town. I kept planning on going to it eventually, but never got there. I don't know how much I would enjoy sitting in a vehicle for several hours watching movies. I don't even watch television, I just find it boring and annoying. I doubt I would be comfortable sitting that long. So I still have not gone there. I have a small movie theater across the street and keep thinking one of these days I will go see a movie there, but have not seen anything playing that would want to see. Maybe I will get there eventually. It is not one of the big modern type of theaters so maybe not too expensive.
I am SO sad to hear that about the St. Johns River! Do you live near it? I grew up in FL and we lived a mile from the river. My brother and I were always there. We did not swim in it due to so many alligators and snakes. But we were a fishing family and was always out on it and the surrounding fresh water lakes near us, of which there were many. I have such happy memories of it and always hoped to make one last trip to FL to see it and other places that were part of my growing up there.
It was north central that I lived. Crescent City to be exact. It was the most beautiful place on earth in the sixties.
It was still beautiful up till last couple decade's. Many of the natural springs are drying up because of millions of gallons a day being taken by bottlers. So Florida was handed off to the politicians and their crooked supporters.
Florida isn't the only state being old off to the highest bidder though, it is happening all over America.
Much of the nation isn't even or even owned or even ran by Americans now.
It is a good time to be old. I cry for the younger generation though. They will never know the beauty and progress we all had the priviledge of growing up in.
It is getting harder to cuss even the most radical of our youth today.
Well, I am finally home from the fires in Redding, Ca. I am dealing with complete exhaustion, so maybe tomorrow things will be better.
