By the way, I will let my friends know that the State of Kommiefornia has, for the first time in my life, turned me into an actual felon for what I have in my safe, that goes "bang-bang". We are actively looking in Arizona, but with my sister (lives 30 minutes away) dealing with her final days from cancer, and our upcoming trip to Paris (where we are flying out of Los Angeles), I can't start shopping until the late fall.

Awoke to yet another beautiful but HOT day forecasted...current temp is already 87 degrees in the Keystone State...with a forecasted temp of 100+ before days end.

Gonna head out to the Shoprite to pick up a few things, then come back home and chill!

Believe it or not, so far I have not turned on my central A/C yet!

My home is a bi-level and the lower level is extremely cool, which is where I spend most of my time when I'm home. Plus I'm surrounded by woods & lots of trees which keep the area cool.

I've got ceiling fans in my family room/man cave and it is very comfortable.

If it gets over 100, then I may have to turn my A/C on!

Our home is basically screened from the sun by old growth trees...mostly the mighty Oak...with Hemlock ( Official State Tree ), Maple, Walnut, Spruce, and Pine.

Don't have central air...and only use fans to circulate air coming in through open windows. AC is only in the two bedrooms upstairs and my man cave...

And used only when the temperate outside is over 90+ degrees.

We are both lucky not to live in the city...where concrete and blacktop...as well as the brick oven row homes we both grew up in add to the misery of heat waves like this weekend.

It doesn't change much,from the 130-150 range normally year round. This months was the highest I think so far at 164.

Our Gas and Electric are combined on one bill...just paid $95.23 this month.

Water was $31.78...
