Hey Jerry, I guess you gotta build coops for them the same as you would chickens or ducks, as well as have the room/space for them to roam around.They get them when they don't even have a place to keep them. 1lady brought me 2 and was keeping them in cages,the other guy brought me 2 and only had a garden pond and realized his city yard wasn't big enough.

I spent the morning getting ready for my Outer Banks Trip...then the afternoon was spent on the web researching a US Revolver Company ( Iver Johnson ) Top Break Revolver my buddy presented to me. ( more on that later ).

I have a building I put them all in at night,during the day I let them out into the yard. I even let them out in the winter unless the temps down below 0.I fenced in about 1 1/2 acres except for the back side that's against a field,plus they have about 1/4 acre pond in the area,so they're good to go.

Well today Dutch I mowed the yard again,now I'm out here by the pond again trying to get a grass carp. I'm like you on the wood stacking,I couldn't do much at once anymore.

Years ago, I use to cut & split wood all day long! In fact I use to split wood with an axe & wedge/maul just for the exercise, and enjoyed it! Nowadays I use a spliter.
As for stacking, after a few hours of bending up & down, back & forth I'll stop and call it a day. I figure there's always tomorrow!

I'm browsing right along with one running Vista and a laptop running XP. Firefox is your friend. It is made by people that aren't in it for the money...like TF:wink:.

Gonna fire up the ole riding mower today & cut some grass or should I say weeds. It's OK cause it's all green!
Maybe later or if I feel up to it I'll try & finish stacking the remaining fresh cut wood I still have on the ground.

I've been playing my "war planet online" game,trying to get my commanders and base to higher levels,plus I set both minnow traps again,getting rid of some if the minnows and baby bluegill at the same time plus spoiling my ducks :wink:. I've already caught about 50 2-3" long minnows and a dozen baby bluegill.

Hey Supp, I always wondered why they call groundhogs "woodchucks"?
All they do is borrow under my elevated wood pile. They are more of a danger to the surface (holes) & your foundation than your woodpile!
That's why each year I shoot about 12 or so of them when I see them on my property!
