I usually don't venture into that neighborhood after dark Brother...so, I cannot correctly tell you if they light the Memorial Hall dome up anymore.

Probably do on certain occasions...like for the rich and famous during Liberal Democratic fund raising season. :vomit:

Thanks buddy.

I heard that!

That part of the hood ain't exactly the place you want to be after dark!!!

Heck, it's questionable even during the day!

It was ok. Hotter than all get out so I stayed inside mostly. The County fireworks were a little disappointing too, wasn't quite as long as usual and the Grand Finale wasn't up to par like it usually is. They have years like that sometimes when the funds are down, nothing new.

Good Morning T/F...!!

Violent rain and thunderstorms hit the Glen this morning, cooling us down for a bit once it pushed away.

Current temperature is 84 degrees...with more rain and thunderstorms expected...forecasted high around 90.

Good afternoon T/F.
Howdy Dutch,Shooter & havasu.

Well now I'm sure that the 2 geese aren't African Browns, they're either full blooded Canadian geese or crossed with the African Browns. They could even be Cackling geese I guess since they're almost identical to Canadian geese.

Good afternoon T/F.

Hey Shooter, Jerry & all.

Got up late today after spending most of yesterday stacking fresh cut wood. I still have about a cord or 1/2 cord to go yet.

After that I decided to light the ole fire-pit up and spent half the cool/chilly night around a blazing fire.

It's a beautiful day here in the Jersey Pines, enjoy yours!:D

Well I've got them for pets if that's what you mean. I was wanting a partner of the same breed for my other African Brown since something took the other 1 but these will be ok I guess. He'll probably breed them too if they're geese and not ganders but I was hoping they were African Browns. The Amish guy wasn't sure and when they were young I wasn't sure either. He's got African Browns but also had a wild Canadian goose hanging around and wasn't sure who had them. His African Browns raised them though. I like having waterfowl since we have a pond and I've had ducks for a few years now and figured last year I'd get geese too. If anything happens to any I can always hatch more in the incubator but I'm trying to not let them sit and hatch their own. I don't need or want anymore than I have. 7 ducks and 3 geese are plenty and I'm not taking anymore that people want to get rid of either like I did last year. I started out with 5 ducks and wound up with 9,I got rid of 2 of them later on though.

Hey Jerry, just out of curiosity, why do some folks want to get rid of them?

Are they hard or difficult to maintain?

They get them when they don't even have a place to keep them. 1 lady brought me 2 and was keeping them in cages, the other guy brought me 2 and only had a garden pond and realized his city yard wasn't big enough.
