My lids broke before the bowls did. I had two of these sets. I used them for baking bread, popcorn, making cookies, salads in the fridge.

Yep, sadly, I'm not smart enough to stop there.... Much like life in general I post what I feel and what I think; no different than any day in my life in face to face interactions. Some day, possibly perhaps, I will stop doing so however I seriously doubt I will.

I have SS also but the cheap ones from the $ store have their uses. Especially with garden veggies, pick a bushel of peas and you have to put them in something.

Tupperware lids magically change to a different size when you put them into the dishwasher or a storage cabinet/drawer. So they never match the containers you have any more. In recent years, they have taught other lids how to do this too.

Me, too. There are some nice ones out there. And I also got a nice set of nesting bowls with snap on lids from Costco. They work great for my salads. They are great for transporting foods as well.

Yeah, my wife calls that "front-of-the-shelf syndrome" where the thing I'm looking for is right in front of my eyes and I still go digging around searching for it.

After 30years my husband has no clue where anything is in the house!! I always ask him if can open drawers or cabinets and LOOK for what he's after! Guess not!! If anything were to happen to me, I have a big folder titled "Upon my death"! Besides all the necessary business, it also has a room by room list of where to find things! I know I have to outlive him! He even has asked me where things are in his shop! "Where do you think I might have put such and such?", And I usually know! Maybe I spoiled him over the years?!
