I call shenanigans! New York has over 450 wineries.

Maybe they only counted good ones. ;)

I have never once heard of or seen a wine from NY. And I have been to more wine tastings, met with more sommeliers and reviewed more wine menus at fancy restaurants in the last several months than any other 10 normal people.

I can attest that there's a lot of wineries in NY, from the Lake Erie border to the Finger Lakes.

Oh, and "normal people" drink beer or whiskey. :) ;)
The Princess brings home cases of Johnson Estates House Red every year.

There are a lot of politicians in DC, but that does mean there are very many "good" politicians. I know around here there are lots of micro-breweries, but not very many of them are that great. Definitely not famous enough to make a high end menu.

Maybe you should get out more.

Holy crap, I have been on like 350 dates in the last 200 days!

Maybe NY needs to give up wine and focus on their inherent talents; crime and corruption.
Up state NY near Lake Erie is good wine/Amish country.

We have an old cottage there which would be an extreme BOL.

My tolerance level for dogs is 3/10. My tolerance for cats is 1/10.

I am a big fan of pet rocks however, 9/10.
Surprising in that cats are more self sufficient than dogs and are rodent control.
(I like both and think they both have a place so doesn’t really matter to me).

Are you just leaving out pet rocks?? Like they don't matter or have feelings?!😮 They are WAY more self sufficient than cats or dogs, AND you can throw them at rodents!! I know a lady who threw a rock at a squirrel on her bird feeder just to scare it....she knocked it out!!!

And that features the tendency to be easily mffted and stubborn side of pet rocks.

They are not fond of being thrown and will often bounce into the bushes and hide. Don't waste your time calling for them. Stubborn they are.

A quick funny & why parents get gray hair. When my daughter was about 3ish, I opened the refrigerator and there was a rock in it. It was a rock that belonged out by the rose bush so I put it back outside by the rose bush. Not long later, I opened the fridge again and the rock was back 🤔
“Daughter”.
“Yes, Mama.”
“Did you put a rock in the refrigerator?”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“It was hot.” 🤦‍♀️

That is SO sweet!!💖

Looks about right for the places in which I have lived. Only surprise was seeing so many Germans in Alaska and Hawaii...then again, I haven't lived in those places. Then again, "most common" could mean a plurality, not a majority (e.g., 20% if the other 80% are broken up into percentages of 19% or less).
