@Patchouli I prefer them without horns!!! Horns are just one more way they can hurt you!

@Peanut They're so cute! Like that one with the orange patch over his eye! Yeah, those Longhorns were a big surprise. I took myself for a ride out in the narrow backroads today. Maybe next time no barbed wire in my pic. Over at the stockyards in the city you can get close but they're used to it. These in the photo were interested. I didn't speak to them. lol

Hopefully a maintenance guy will take the grad all this weekend n cave all the killer bergs n ice daggers off the building.
My wife and I take ours down with slingshots. Preferred ammo is GobStopper jaw-breaker candy. Nice and hard, to break the ice. As they fall down into the snow below, they (the GobStoppers) dissolve when things melt.

Yeah, @Hooch those look dangerous! Hardhat required.
The stick hopper is right below that ice wall creeping off the roof. Unfortunately, the forklift driver has to be under it to put sticks in. As of yesterday it was about 6 or 7 feet long slowly creeping off the roof with its icicles hanging off the ends like daggers.
I kept thing it's going to drop soon n shed but it's a true hanger..hopefully it doesn't shed off when someone is under it as by now its gotta weigh a ton

😳

I'd hate to be a woodpecker around your place. Those annoyances probably warrant the 12 gauge. I'd go for that too - if I could figure out a way to protect my siding.
We have porches that go around 3 sides of the house. I can sit in my chair and shoot those pesky icicles without hitting the house. Woodpeckers are safe, squirrels and chipmunks are not.

The cows are so cute!

theheathen, the porch looks good!

I mentioned I did some cleanup. I'm embarrassed that my kitchen gets as bad as it does but I get overwhelmed and don't have any help with cleaning (but have others who certainly "help" by making messes). In my defense, I grew up living in dirty houses because my mother hated cleaning. She would do bare minimum cleaning from time to time but we always had mess/clutter everywhere. I got my "nesting" from her-- where things get piled up all around. Between my fatigue back problems, and shoulder problems it has been hard to keep up. Picking up/taking out trash is the one chore my brother has in the house. He will sometimes take the full bag out of the trash can and set it down somewhere in the house, but he never picks up trash off the floor and he hasn't helped with pulling out trash bags in months.

Anyway, this was partway through cleaning the trash off the floor in the kitchen (say "hi" to the jerk cats who repeatedly knocked the trash can over): Lady Sylvanas was on the counter to the left. I think its either Ginger or Rupert on the box in the middle. Temjin on the potato bin to the right. Itsy in the middle of the floor. Senator Snugglebum on the floor to the right.

After more cleanup: The paper stuff still on the floor is stuck there. I will have to get some kind of scraper because it was not coming up. A bunch of he parquet flooring came up though.

Last kitchen pic and Yasuke was in the middle of the floor. The dog in the hallway is Princess. The bowls and stuff on the chair are what I feed the cats in. I set some on the floor spread out but I picked them up so they wouldn't be in the way.

This is the hallway (which had been covered in trash & the dogs had been peeing on stuff so it stuck to the carpet. That's my oldest cat Boo near the door.

Bethesda (white cat with gray spots) and Yasuke-- still working on that other end of the hallway. I pushed everything up into piles.

You did alot of work..keep it up

@Hooch, thank you. I had to take some rest breaks and keep myself hydrated. My body absolutely hates me right now so I'm giving myself time to recover. Hoping I can do more on Wednesday.

@Pearl, I think the worst "sale" I saw was where something was marked down literally 1 cent. That did not make sense to me.

Toilets in bed bath & beyond need some CLR:

Custom made the fishing rack and took this picture exactly 2 years ago. Had a ton of fun surf fishing and staying overnight on the beach with the wife that summer but had to trade up to a 4X4 truck when we bought the land to build the Homestead on. Shift from beach life to mountains is quite the change.

I found this a couple weeks ago while out hunting plants but forgot to post it. A long bridge over a big creek, water 4ft deep. I enlarged the yellow caution sign and layered it over the org. photo.

Look closely at this bridge. Someone used railroad rails and U-bolts trying to level the bridge floor at the edges.

The reason they thought this was necessary… the supports under the bridge are in such bad shape they can no longer support the bridge floor. That’s why it’s sagging, I looked.

I also heeded the advice, I turned back, the water was deep and cold. I didn’t feel like going for a swim. The county needs to close this road.
