I was gonna post it someplace else, but I lost that thread :p

I'm a straight shooter. All the time you've been complaining, you were just being sarcastic! No wonder you haven't shown her the door.

I have been 100% truthful. She came home with me one night for grown up fun time and never left. Around day 15 or 16 I told her to be clear I was never gonna be in a committed relationship, I was never gonna get married and never gonna have kids. All she said was "that's a lot of nevers". I asked how long she planned on staying and she just said "until you change your mind". A couple months later she moved her stuff in, made a copy of my key and got rid of her apartment. No conversations took place and this all happened when I was out. That was something like 20 months ago. She has even had her mom come stay here. And for the record it's her mom was says I am too pretty for her. She just stares at me when she's here. I keep waiting to wake up chained to a boulder in a South American country.

Saw the biggest rainbow I've ever seen in my life and pulled over to get pics. I tried to get pics where there weren't obstructions but my stupid phone refused to take photos for some reason. It just wouldn't respond to the prodding that normally triggers photos and just putzed instead. It was much more vibrant in person. There was even a ghost rainbow off to the right.

Didn't realize until afterward that a truck with "Loves" was driving by when I took the pic.

Ya’ll are killing me with the beach pics. I despise the beach, I know, odd. And I’ve been to lots of them, on 4 continents. The really odd part, I love the ocean. Especially the deep ocean out past the continental shelf. Spent 6yrs going to sea, crossed the atlantic several times. But if given the choice between the beach and dumpster diving I’d have to ask ‘where’s the dumpster located?’ As long as it’s not near the beach... 🤣

What’s wrong with the beach? I’ll take it any day over any city

Kinda laughing at the flamingos. I grew up in Florida, so flamingo decorations aren't new to me, but we were camping once and one whole area of the RV park had an unusual amount of flamingo decorations. It was almost obvious that it had some kind of meaning. So I googled, "RV parks and flamingos" .... yup. Now I giggle every time I see one.

The high school drama club raise money by charging to install dozens of pink flamingo in a victim's yard along with a sign reading

" You have been flocked"

All my earliest memories are of cotton fields. Might say i grew up in them. We have sandy soil here, very sandy in places.

First time i went to the beach... sand burned my feet just like a cotton field. The sun burned me to a crisp, yep, just like a cotton field.

People say, but i can cool off by jumping in the water... I learned early, want to cool off? Get out of the sun and into the shade! 90 degree salt water only robs your skin of moisture and provides no shade. So now i'm dehydrated and over heated.

The beach has sand fleas, jelly fish and sharks, a cotton field doesn't. So a beach is actually worse than a cotton field... 🤣 I don't want to spend time in either!

Beaches are hot and sandy. Sand gets into everything and it burns your feet if you're barefoot. It's also harder to walk on because you sink. Its also out in the open with the sun beating down. I can't be in direct sunlight and I can't stand the heat. I'll take a swimming pool over a beach. Beaches are nice to look at from afar, but I haven't enjoyed beaches since I was a small child making sand castles and watching my brother try to eat sand crabs.

Someone on Twitter posted asking people for name suggestions for this kitten and I want it! I want to rub its little belly and hold it close to my face and bottlefeed it.

I know this is sorta crazy and not a pretty photos, but this brings back memories from 1977. I spent one day soldiering a chip on for each place on a board like this to go into an 8088 computer. It was for a project that my then hubby and business associates needed to put into a computer. I think it has 66 chip sockets. They didn't use it that day, but took it back to the main office. Plugged it in and it worked right off. I was very proud of myself as I'm just a ham radio operator that has done a couple of small boards before this.

I didn't realize I had a photo of this
