but there is Nothing laffing about after one has a stroke... Always Thought there are/were agencies where Assistants that assist with People in these situations esp with "Training" in How to Do Things all over again...?!?

"Barry, 57, died after he accidentally plunged the blade into his stomach at his home in Powys, Wales, in July"

"The medical examiner eventually ruled Griffiths — who had limited use of one arm following a stroke — most likely died from an accident and not a suicide."

Always Thought these things were scheduled : "Griffiths, who lived alone and was described as “very private,” had been dead for several days before police carried out a welfare check and found blood spattered all through his kitchen and bedroom."

I chose not to use the laughing reaction. But I really wanted to.
If I meet my demise separating frozen hamburger patties (YUCK) with a butterknife, you are requested to LYFAO when you read news, :drink buddy:

It's sad when things like this happen, even if the victim was a Darwin Award candidate. I can't believe people don't think a little more about what they're doing as they're doing it. Personally, I separate frozen burgers with a metal spatula - the same spatula that I pulled out of the drawer to flip the burgers with on the grill. The corner of the spatula penetrates, then the wide body gives you good prying leverage. And you're going to have to wash the spatula later anyway - after you flip the burgers. It might smart a little if you whacked yourself with a spatula blade, but I dare say it wouldn't be fatal. Apparently the guy walked over to his bed and laid down to rest after stabbing himself. A couple of questionable choices are apparent here.
The world needs a hamburger guillotine.

I'm a woman and I don't understand a lot of women out there. I was always a tomboy and had more male friends than female. I am enjoying that there are more women interested in carpentry, power tools, and trades though.

Kidney stone wasn't ailing me as badly today but my whole body is sore and my back hates me. Brother was supposed to help me clear the back hallway for the new door installation but I couldn't get him to wake up. he did help with installing the door and he cooked a steak for me when we got back from Walmart.

Some of my cats haven't figured out the cat door and are panicking. My youngest one was outside hollering at the door for me to open it for her. I have 2 cats that are outside that I will have to go retrieve in case they can't figure out how to use the cat door. I think the dogs will figure it out. Hopefully Fippy won't have any trouble going through.

But I was extremely frustrated with not being able to find stuff. I put things in specific places and couldn't find them when I went to use them. It's so aggravating. I was looking all over and could not for the life of me figure out where stuff was. And I realized that I put the pet door in backwards. ugh. It was an absolute nightmare to get in and I would have to get new bolts, cut the caulk, and try to get everything to line up again to get the door flipped around. So it is staying that way.

Give them time with the door, definitely retrieve them!!😸

I tore stuff in both of my ankles years ago so I can't wear heels. I never could walk in heels to begin with. I wore sandals for almost a decade while overseas but now I wear wide shoes.

Whole body is sore today but mostly the lower half. I'm moving like a turtle. I still have stuff to do but am exhausted. Woke up having charlie horse in both legs. I need more magnesium and potassium.

Mom was low on cash when our friend was out installing the back door so she gave him what she had and it wasn't much. Today he had to spend almost all of it on medicine for his daughter.

I'm still mad at myself for installing the pet door backwards. But since it's a steel door with foam inside and I had to go through hell to install it in the first place I'm not attempting to take it off and flip it around. I'd probably break it. Now, if it breaks and needs to be replaced I'll make sure to install a new one correctly. Pets still have not figured it out. I had to hold the flap open for Princess. Both Aminatu and Bethesda were sitting at the back door staring at it. I shoved them through the pet door so they could see that it swings. I'm sure Itsy will figure it out. I don't want Rupert figuring it out- at least not yet. Sylvanas is still upset about it even though she rarely goes out.

If you are prone to kidney stones, take this:

Kidney Cop

I've had 4 serious kidney stones over the years, snd have been taking this for about 1.5 yrs ... works like a charm.

After all these years, haven’t we grown up enough to finally admit that Janis Joplin had a voice like a rusty gate hinge and the Beatles were just drug addlepated nincompoops, screaming nothing but nonsensical ear-vomit?
You really waited a Long Time to Vent that Rant...!!! ;)

I had one of those doors, in fact still do, and it sets to work both ways of In and Out... Should only block it if the wind gets real strong and keep the Furries inside...!!!

I never thought the Beatles were all that great. Didn't think they were terrible, but I don't get how obsessed some people are with them. Definitely overrated. I liked some Janis Joplin songs. Ugh, my aerobics teacher in high school made us watch an exercise video with that traitorous witch and I about blew a gasket. My dad got spit on, had eggs thrown at him, called "baby killer" and denied service in businesses while in uniform on home leave because of her and people like her. At the point that she endangered the lives of our soldiers & offered aid & comfort to our enemies she should have been thrown in prison. To this day I can't see her face without getting mad.

My rant is on behalf of my brother. You may remember I mentioned that he tried to transfer his Roth IRA out of Capitol One and in to another bank. He got the paperwork from the other bank and took it to CO to transfer Roth IRA. CO then said that his account was a different type of IRA and required different paperwork. So he got the appropriate paperwork and brought it them. Then they said "No, it's a Roth IRA" and he was left unable to transfer his money and waiting for someone to call him back about it. Then one day he goes to check his IRA account and its gone. He calls and gets put on hold and hung up on. Finally finds out that they transferred it to another company entirely without his permission or any prior notification that they were doing it. They moved it from a high interest accruing account to an account that not only does not accrue interest, but charges fees. In the past 4 years they have stolen $200 from his account. He can view his account but he can't withdraw anything and he can't transfer it. He re-filed paperwork months ago and they are still not letting him transfer his money. At this point he will have to sue them and take a loss because they stole his $ and refuse to let him have it back.

He filed a BBB complaint but doesn't expect it to do anything. Can he report this to FBI as theft? it's over $5k and would be more if they hadn't switched it without his permission. Should he sue CO for transferring it without permission after he tried to transfer it to an interest accruing bank account of his choice? Or should he sue MT? Or both? He's really frustrated bc he'll still lose thousands of $ if he takes them to small claims court and if they keep his money they will continue to steal from it until there is nothing left.

So, the end of August I was set to go back and drive my bus route at my son's place of residence. I get a call asking if I was interested in driving a school bus in my home town. I say yes and start the process.

It took 3 weeks for them to set a driving test. I was then informed that the results would go to HR for a rubber stamp. Two weeks later I get a conditional offer of me passing another driving test for a flat nose bus which I have never seen up close. I spent a week driving routes before they had time for the test.

Took the test last Friday on a vehicle that is completely different from anything I have experienced. I get a call from HR this morning to come in and set up all the paper work, company emails ect. I spent the day doing all the obligatory on line training for billing, harassment, WHMIS and a bunch of other courses. As I am completing the last one at 5:30 pm (after hours) the transportation dispatcher calls to inform me that I am not hired. I told him HR said I was. He says so sorry, there must be a disconnect.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:🤬🤬🤬🤬
