I've always enjoyed the satisfaction of making things with my own hands.

Got some more hunting gear at dunhams. They r having a 48h super sale. Got a nice 30$ back pack for 14.99$, some ammo, doe p, and a face cover my bow hunting camo suit is complete now. Im going to a new property tomorrow to hang stands, cams and create food plots. Hope to get some meet in the freezer...

I picked a few tomatos, peppers and hot peppers from our bucket garden to whip up a quick salsa.

I got a call from my local archery shop today that my arrows were done. I had them make 9 hunting arrows for me and they got em done today. Oh boy, archery sure is addicting and shuts up your common sense. If half a year ago somebody would have told me that i would happily spent 100 bucks on 9 arrows i would not have believed it. But here i am...

There is nothing moderate about those two chillies, they are grown on the fence line with hell, some are planted closer to it than others. For me the only use thay have is to mush boil and strain them to have something to throw in their face tht will burn the living dailights out them. Wont put them in my mouth, i hate pain. [emoji15]

Nice! Are you water bath canning them so they don't need to be refrigerated? I mostly did canned tomatoes this year, but did a couple cases of salsa. I have to add the kick to it at the table so that my wife can enjoy it too.

Know what you mean exactly Marv, with the gun issue in the UK being so intrusive and repressive many of our prepper confine themselves to archery, Many of us will not apply for gun or ham licences because of the Persec issues, but there are no constraints on archery ( though bow hunting is illegal) but I too often find myself lashing on on a dozen high quality arrows for my preps.

I couldn't see what they were Jim.

Since we are staying at the house in town Lisa gave me the smallest room in the house :( for our prep stuff, yesterday I gone up on the property and pulled more supplies for the house here in town so basically I have a mini store room of the larger one up on the property, that was my project this week.

don't know if I could afford it,but I'll have to make a detour tomorrow when coming home and get some .22lr ammo

i got 2 switches for my battery charges yesterday, this way i can turn them off when not in use.then turn them on when needed.the reason for that,is i got tired of unpluging them, then pluging them back in.just to turn them on.plus i dont care for the idea of turning off the power strip, then back on.on account i have my window unit pluged into it.i already spliced one switch into my main charger.and it works great..

I got me a brick of 22 ammo today..$27 something with tax..and they have it,out on the shelves now.instead of behind the counter..i'll deffently be back when i have the money
Not a bad price, for now days. A couple weeks ago Gander Mountain had some on the shelves with a 2 brick limit. My wife and I both picked up 2 apiece. As I was placing it in my stock, I noticed a price tag on an old brick; $6.99.

I recently got a bunch of two ounce liquid nitrogen and hydrogen bottles. Also got a bunch of arrows. Had my rice harvest last week, about eighteen kilograms of rice. And the testing for my make shift thagomizer-inator laser is not going so well. I took a bunch of xenon and radon lights put them in a ten inch spot light with two sixteen inch old TV screens as a concentrator. It can set things on fire and blister steel but cannot cut it though it would do hell to human.

I siphoned off the wines I've got fermenting right now. These are 3 Concorde, a white grape and one blackberry batch. I'm eagerly awaiting tasting the blackberry as it's the first time I've made it. I still have another batch of Concorde grapes frozen, and I just started picking the muscadines. The 5 jugs I have going now are 125 bottles when done, but I'll get close to two hundred more from the muscadines. The root cellar is perfect storage for it, not only do I have a lifetime supply, but plenty to share and barter with if the economy goes south.
