Related events -China's biological attack , Government's insisting on their subjects take their untested concoction shots , Government probing everyone 's bank accounts , Transportation of goods collapsing , Jobs being lost because of free money being thrown out or refusal to take the government concoction , Joe Biden being payed by China 1 1/2 billion dollars to go into his personal bank account . Throwing citizens legal rights out the window -- It all ties in together . Anyone should be able to figure out what is going on .

There are so many who choose to ignore or deny this. I think it's how some handle such situations, curl up in a ball and close your eyes. Glad I'm stronger than that!

I know I don't take it lightly and it is something I think about often. With just the wife and I it would be a monumental task, if I'm being honest near impossible would be more accurate.. This is actually something I am going to incorporate into our local group of Patriots. The discussion will be a centralized bug out location where we descend on the place with supplies, arms and lots of freedom seeds, those we have plenty of, lol. One person in particular has a real good spot to do this, it would be much easier for a group to succeed than just a couple in their middle 60's..

Familiarity I guess , most homes in America are not like homes in the middle east or eastern Europe. Most will not even stop small arms fire. And most folks can be burned out. Another thing is no one knows for sure which way the wind might blow during the coming storms. And I tend to think it will be multiple both internal and external. I reckon it comes down to prepare for the worst as best one can and then hope for the best. Always be flexible in planning because most bad situations can become very fluid in nature. Timing is everything sometimes.

Preppers are fully prepared for a flat'out AR-15 gunfight. Why would I do that, when a brick or rock and a quart of gasoline, zero or very-very low risk of personal injury. Or just put an old coat over the furnace or wood stove chimney.

The one thing that is detrimental to most I think is mindset of just how truly horrible a Wrol scenario would really be , short or long term either way it will be really bad. Think Hotel Rwanda as an example or Ambushed about Croatia.

I think we armed preppers will be just fine.
Think about the millions that live in an apartment, in a high-rise, inside the big metropolis cities, where guns are 'forbidden'.
They keep about 2 days worth of food before they start gnawing on chair legs.
...or the ones that keep nothing, and rely on all their food being delivered, or eating at restaurants.
Worry about those people.

Speaking for myself...

We live in an isolated enclaved on top of a ridge with only 2 roads in and out. It used to to be mining homes with roads designed for mules to get in and out. The families here have been here since about 1920 when the mines built the place. We could drop trees for barricade and string up cables to block access in an hour or 2.


We have farm land within a short walking distance, water, food cached, a coal seam for fuel and tools and equipment to handle most challenges. It would take maybe 5 pick up trucks to move the resources we have here. We are far enough away from the urban areas that it would take the urban gangs a day to get here on foot.

6 generations of my family has slept under my roof and if was good enough for my father it is good enough for me. God put my family here for a reason.

For about a month I was entertaining selling out to a large grocery chain so they could build on my property. I found a 100 acre place out near my son's place where we could have out up houses for the extended family. If the deal had gone through I would be able to build the new family complex for about the $1M that was being discussed by the grocery chain. It was an interesting thought exercise.

But the deal fell through and I don't have $1M to pour into that plan and still provide for the Princess's needs after I pass.

So here I stand and here I'll stay.
The fear doesn't bother me anyway.

What I can tell you, is that having been on dozens of forums in the last 25 years........the single "Number ONE" subject that I can bring up for discussion, that is 101% assured to enrage members is, that for all their prepping, and for as far out in deep rural they are, they are in danger of other humans. Preppers think they will survive multiple gunfights. And those gunfights will happen with fair warning. The idea that some "scumbag" would burn them out, just infuriates them.

The answer now as it was since the begining is community.

First the family
Then the neighborhood
Then the town.

I can't guard my house front and back 24x7 and still do what is needed to survive.

I decided 32 adults minimum would be required to have a front and back guard with a coordinator to track if they went missing 24x7.

While in the Navy I was one of the first few that qualified to stand guard over the nukes in board. 4 hours on 8 hours off with one day off every fourth day to take care my other duties. It drove me crazy!

Well, the really sad fact is, most preppers are low functioning, mentally ill ,wackos who mostly live in a fantasy world of their own creation. This isn't a result of prepping, its just that those kind of people, end up attracted to prepping. (Along with other things)

Since this world is one they created, they create it to be fairer to them, than the real world has been.

It's just one those things. It's why a rational prepper has to outright dismiss about 80% of what the prepping 'community' puts out, and you have develop a thick skin for dealing with crazy people.
