9 out right now, meaning the dogs will have to be in the milkhouse and walked every few hours. And will be deicing fowl water a few times today. We will have a high of 24.

Looks like a few clouds today but no snow is expected. We really need the snow. We're about 3-5 feet short from what we should have by this time of year. Since mid January we've only had about 8 inches of new snow, and we only have 2-3 feet on the ground right now. We could be in for a very dry summer this year.

Woke up to zero degrees. I suppose that is better than a negative! Intermittent snow is predicted for today. While it snowed overnight, the amount of snow is just a skiff, not even an inch.

68 on my porch this morning... the air is almost sticky, high humidity. It's supposed to be nasty this evening, 5pm til midnight, typical tornado weather. Storms, unstable air mass, tornado soup.

They desperately need it. I saw a post this morning of a place there getting their first snow today! These people are farmers and need the moisture.

I have some friends in ND who have said similar - they did get a little last week though. It didn't amount to much but was more than the nothing they've had.
