Today is partly cloudy. After 3 days of rain and drizzle it's a pleasant change. It's 40F now and expected to get to almost 60 before the day is over, perfect for finding a shovel and pretending I'm @Neb.

Out of the blue, we suddenly had a snow/ice episode for about 5 minutes.

To the west, fire weather watch, west of that red flag warning and fire weather watch, here there is a wind advisory, they say it is cloudy but looks smoky to me. High 70s. Beautiful, except the wind blowing up the dirt and dust. Nearest rain is to the east, I guess that came up from the gulf. Yesterday the humidity was so low that my hair was flat and static whether inside or outside. Weird.

Me on low humidity days:

I watch the humidity percents daily, both outside and inside.
We can have humidity levels in the low 20%'s for a week at a time. (Not normal!)
Today is 85%, normal.
If the humidity level inside the house drops below 35%, the chair at my desk becomes an 'electric-chair' and I get electrocuted every time I sit down.

It got up into the 80s but then back down into the 70s when it got cloudy. I thought it was going to rain but it didn't. Humidity was still high though.

Yay! It has been a while!

Woke up to 56 degrees! But I heard that the mountains are supposed to get up to a foot of snow in the next couple days. No snow predicted for us today, but it was predicted last week that we would have snow this week. Time will tell. A little rain wouldn't hurt.
