Whoo Whee!!!
It was 47 at sunrise this morning.
Fall has arrived!!
Yes, no-weather is good weather .
With no rain for over 2 weeks and lower temps, the mosquitos are GONE!
I have gone over 3 days without a single hit (unbelievable!).

40's at night 70's during the day, dry and sunny.

The low temps the last two nights have triggered a plague of house flies. They are almost grown but not quite. The stage where they are very quick!

I spent an hour yesterday and today walking around the house with a fly swat in each hand. I've killed dozens... an hour later they get replaced by even more.

Think I have them under control now, finally!

Holy Cow!!! We had a violent T-storm with all kinds of thunder & lightning, and it rained like Noah's Flood too!!! I checked the forecast and riding is out tomorrow, we have strong chances of rain till midweek, and the trails would be all muddy anyway. I don't want my bike THAT dirty, since I'm the guy who cleans it, lol. Boy, the rain really came down there for a bit, while the lightning & thunderclaps were impressive! Scared the bejesus out of the cats---all of 'em---but at least it's quiet now. Guess I won't need to water at all for the next few days, lol. Suits me, I can sleep in and share quality time with the kitties! NOAA Weather said the temp was 55 a little while ago, so I'll sleep well tonight! Probably leave my windows shut though, otherwise the wind blows rain into my master bathroom.

Withdrawals!! I feel "Karl" will fill your need!!😉😮
I can't believe I completely missed hurricane Julia!

I'm seeing some sunshine, might have to check the forecast and see if a window of opportunity will present itself this week, I'd like to take the thumper up to the mountains and do some riding... 🤔

Well, this is weather-related for our area.
The first sure sign that we will have no hurricanes this year appeared today..
A starving roofing guy stopped by and offered to blow off our roof and inspect it for free.:)
ZERO roofs have been blown off down here this year, so they have had no income.
We had a good talk and I told him 'no thank you' because the shingles are old and like Doritos, but don't leak.
They will be fine as long as nobody walks on them.
Rehab is going just fine.

Just a minute SuperV, there is a disturbance off the east coast of Mexico moving north!! Of course there is that cold front coming through Texas tomorrow, but maybe it will turn around as a warm front and bring "Karl" with it! That's the next name, and I said Karl would get you. Think it was last month I said that!!😃 Time will tell!!😉

Schultz was smarter than they gave him credit for, hell. he probably helped us win the war.....Wait a minute? GRANDPA?! IS THAT YOU?!lolol

The dog and I just got back from a walk. Clear skies and about 67 degrees made for a very nice time! It got up to about 75 today and it should do something similar tomorrow. I'll take it! Later this week, it should cool into the 60s and 50s which is normal.

OMG! We got rain! After having 3 consecutive weeks of rain-free days.
Unusually huge, loud raindrops. Caught me by surprise.
Gone in 20 minutes. (remember, we were addicted to having a 'daily-rinse' for 2 months)
Edit: It heard me talking bad about it so it gave us a bigger dose for round-2. .61" total.

Ok, I fell off the wagon .
Karl appears to be Hispanic, and is heading south to Mexico .
WAPO said: After spinning in the gulf for a few days, the storm is expected to turn toward the southwest and drift toward Mexico’s Gulf coast by Friday.
...I think he likes tacos;).
