Drizzly, yucky!! Bad storms overnight tonight. 53° right now. No  cold weather until the end of the week, looks like it will stick around when it gets here! ☹️🙄
I didn't know whether to put this in the jokes thread or here.
Yes, some weather-people do actually have a brain.
One of ours posted this on facebook:
Screenshots from my earlier Livestream.. 12z GFS run. While there's been run to run consistency over the past three days, I think the GFS went crack smoking stupid!!
😂
😂
Our forecasted snowfall accumulation here for the day after Christmas:

That is your refund check for a low spinny thing season.

Ok, should get a squall line about 4am here! Will send it east as quickly as possible!! 😁🌬️🌪️⛈️💧
No need to waste 'next-day-air' shipping on it.
As far as our snowfall accumulation forecast goes, if it was February I might believe it .

So it's 4am, squall line about 1 hour away, under a tornado watch!! Feeding the outside kitties now, getting Bear out for a pee. Will be dressed and prepared for these storms!
Just after 5am, two tornado warnings to my west. The line slowed a bit. It's 64°, just waiting now!

Our 27* F "low" never materialized, nor did the "rain or possible snow"---no ice in the birdbaths either, so the weather guessers were a full 5* F off the mark last night. At LEAST 5*, which is ridiculous. Seems like I can't get an accurate weather report lately... whaddya suppose is UP with THAT? Gubmint tards interfering with the weather and making the models & forecasts unreliable? I mean seriously, 5* OFF THE MARK? What the f#%? This is getting ridiculous... 😒

Just checked our weather for the next few days- -9 here last night, possibly -11 tonight. But Sunday we'll be back to normal, up to 11 and raining- that's some jump! Gives me time to restock though.

Ice in the birdbaths this morning, and it feels pretty cold outside... NOAA Weather says it's 28* F right now, with a forecast high of 48. Looks like it'll be this way for a few days: colder than normal low & high temps, but plenty of sunshine. Almost went bowling yesterday, but decided to save it for later... our nice new bowling & rec center isn't going anywhere, same for the new(ish) movie theater complex. I wish our local pool hall would open earlier, it doesn't open until 1600 hours so there's only an hour of daylight left... and I don't like being out after dark unless it's necessary, or worth it.

Big rain on the way, supposed to be here starting at noon. 3-5 inches this afternoon.

Wonder if the rain falling now counts? I'm in the severe weather zone, might get a little windy too.

Probably lose internet for a bit...
I watched the front go over us.
Temp dropped from 74° to 63° in an hour, ending our fierce gusty-winds the last 2 days that constantly blew stuff over on the patio gaah.
We only had a few 'hit&run' showers .18" .
Your turn! 😁

Well I saw our lights flicker a few times this morning (which never happens), so I figured something was going on somewhere nearby.
It seems they snagged a twisty-thing 20 miles south of us!

“At this time, we have one injury,” Breaux said. “With help from the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office, we are setting up a command post at New Iberia Senior High School for those displaced from their homes. This is an active situation, and we ask that everyone continue to shelter in place. Check on your neighbors and loved ones.”
Hunker down @Peanut !

It's been snowing for two days. The snow will continue to fall into tomorrow. It has been a heavy, wet snow that sticks to the pine boughs. The boughs are drooping and sagging. We listened to snapping pine boughs all night long. By the time this storm is over, we'll get about 12" or so of heavy snow.

You're not alone, Pearl, it's still 28* F here, but warming fast... forecast high is 48 today! Clear & sunny though, so if one is out of the wind and standing in the sunshine, it feels 15* or 20* warmer. Good day for a hike up Dog Canyon, as the 'Village Trail' is still closed at Three Rivers Petroglyph Site. Bummer, but it'll open soon enough, once workers fix their equipment troubles. Monday may be a possible riding day, as the forecast high is 55* F and skies will still be clear & sunny!

Just sitting here waiting for the 12" we're supposed to get tonight . Trying to get the chains on the tractor ,can only work on them for 5 minutes at a time it will probably take most of the afternoon
