Scorchin' today, but a definite cooldown lies ahead... :woo hoo:

The town run sucked, but I got a lot done and now I'm rigged for the next few days...

Took an extra rinse-off shower after unloading groceries and 50-lb. sacks of cracked corn in the heat of the day... 🥵

I took the remainder of the current cracked corn sack and spread it around the three ground feeders, so the wild birds get an extra treat today... I bought 3 new sacks of corn, they run about $18 per sack (plus tax).

It really is hard to deal with when you're not used to high temps. My brothers back east are dealing with high 90s, high humidity too. It is 97° in my area, sick of it as well, @Bacpacker
I was outside most of the morning, a bit taxing and takes a bit to cool down. Poor air quality until tomorrow afternoon.

Hot

Looks like DC and Northern Virginia and all that are/were getting hit with some severe thunderstorms, which is typical thunderstorms for this area, but no rain here.
Was outside for several hours again today, another party. Splash pads are a great idea and that one was well used today.
7:37 p.m. and sitting at 101°
