101 yesterday and 100 today. Humidity was 86% at 8 am. I had a hard time doing my walk for the first time in a couple of years. Did it anyway.

I don't even give a flyin' f... I'm going to town on a beer run, but I'm thinking today might be a good day for those Pina Coladas I haven't made yet, lol. Rum & hot weather... what can possibly go wrong? Hours later: "SHOTS FIRED!!!"

113° now. A couple of storms popped up to my north, but fizzled right out. Having an occasional cloud! Maybe it won't make it to 114°! Just came in from topping off Buddy's water, it is BRUTAL out there!

About to get hammered by yet another thunderstorm. It's already so humid and hot outside that my glass door is fogged up on the outside, have the ac on in the house. A good thing... thinking of taking papertowels out there and clean the glass, don't need water!!

Thunder & lightning, rain pouring down... first good rain in 5 or 6 months! Awesome light show courtesy of Mother Nature! Didn't expect this rain, it wasn't in the forecast last time I checked, but by God, I'll take it! The thunder sounds so cool!

I just got done checking out the radar all along the south and up the east coast! WOW!!

We just hit 108°! Looks like this heat is here to stay a while. No relief in the two week forcast!

We got hammered from 130 until about 3. Tornado watch until 6. Several thunderstorm warnings. Winds up to 80mph. Rain in buckets. But its mostly dont blown thru now. Quite sporty for a while

Those who are getting storms have really been getting bad ones!! Some clouds here today, 102° at 1pm. Very high fire danger!

The weather that moved thru here yesterday has been deemed an EF2 tornado. Trees down all over just north of us. School had roof torn off, lots of damage. Some trees down around us, but not nearly as bad. East of here had more flooding. Power outages in lots of places

Ha! the noon weather predicted severe storms and heavy rains for the few days... evidently the last few were only a heavy dew and a little breezy!

At around 4:45pm when I was driving in town it was 105°F. I don't want to know what temp it was earlier. It was 103 in the shade when I got onto my road.

We received 0.34 inches of rain Friday through Monday, easily surpassing the city’s average August precipitation of 0.21 inches and roughly equaling the rain which fell in May, June and July combined.
Have I mentioned I live on the dry side of Washington?

Wow backlash, that's a lot of rain, at least compared to north central Texas! We do have ever so slight chances of rain the next 24 hours. But still well into the 100's! Looks pretty hot for a while!!

Peanut - looks like N. AL is expecting strong/severe rain/thundertsorms and maybe F0 to F1 tornadoes from about 3 - 7 pm today, then again about 11PM to 3AM. I hope only a good thunderstorm.
