95 feels like 105 at 7:30 pm. No decent chance of rain for the next week. Temps of 99-101 for the next week. What the heck! I think FL may be cooler.

Daughters told me bad storms in AR and Southern MO. One lives in Harrison,AR and the other in Kimberling City,MO
How did you fare? All i got was a little shower this afternoon. The big storms this evening went east of me, at least the first round.
Still another round coming after midnight.
Caught a light shower while watering... wasn't enough to stop watering, so I stood in the rain with the hose nozzle spraying, lol. My neighbors probably think I'm crazy! Good news is that I don't care, lol...

Saw there are some random field fires around here today. Bad fire on Maui Island. Will we ever stop being amazed or alarmed? It is windy, dark, and cloudy. Been windy all day. 99° right now.

Posting about an hour and twenty minutes later ....very light shower, way too much lightening! May get 10 more drops in a few minutes, still a lot of lightning. Patch, you may have gotten more rain!??

Was hoping for a dust settler!!@Pearl what we got...just enough to make it stink and get the pavement wet. It didn't really rain as in rain, just drops, like you said. Need more to wash away that Texas stink!

We had storms roll in around 4 am. Had over 2" of rain when I left the house at 6. Still pouring. But it looks like it'll all be outta here by 9.

Rainy season came twice this year.

If I start reading I might as well consider this day done, once I start I can't stop lmao. School here is delayed for two hours and my daughter is literally giving a full on presentation with pictures of why I should let her just skip today lol
We took our 3 mile walk last evening, and it started sprinkling on us. Made for a cool walk, but the humidity was horrendous.
It's crappy weather, let her skip, but then go over her schoolwork for two hours with her, Then make her help with your housework. it will drive her nuts and she won't ask again.
Lol this is gonna be her first full year in public school so the school work at home thing won't bother her and as for helping me with house work yeah no thanks she's a tiny tornado of chaos

My bottom had dirty spots after lasts night's storms!! A lot of lightning, no real rain, blowing dust! I'm talking about the pool, took a little longer to vacuum it, some of the blowing dust settled to the bottom!

In other weather news... our outside A/C unit stopped working at 4pm
Outside temp at 97°, but fortunately dropping.
Hasn’t been too bad- upper 80s-lower 90s. Next week is supposed to be triple digits for a week. We’ll see how it rolls.

Unplugged it, took Bear out for a pee, turned on the old Freidric central unit! Window unit was fine at 5am, Hubby doesn't know any of this happened, sound sleeper! Gotta know your advantages

My central unit kept freezing up when we first moved in this place, when I took off the top cover thing only took a second to see why....the coils were absolutely filthy, but after cleaning them and straightening the fins it works like a new one lolOur bedroom window unit froze last night.
