I feel like I'm rubbing it in when I post our weather forecasts. I know that the South is baking in the heat. According to our Wednesday forecast, our high temp will be "very hot."

It was a little chilly here this morning. I had to put a shirt and shoes on. It'll be hot later today though. I wouldn't be surprised if it hits 80 degs later today.

I love summer and the hot weather it garden season what's not to love right? Well to answer that question, the older I get the less I can handle the heat, I have so many things I need to do and the heat gets me every stinkin time lol.

Summer in Texas. No garden. No flowers. Just a few things in pots on the front porch since the squirrels will kill everything I put out back. Grass and weeds are dead so I don’t have to mow or pull weeds. Yay, go me.
