This lady telling how bad things are in Texas- though many of you know I guess
112° at 5pm!109° at 1:30pm!
We are getting some of your humidity! I send you all those cold fronts, least you could do is send a little rain!!It was cold when I went out this morning at 9:30am, 73° with a wind as the rain was ending.
I shoulda worn a jacket.
Did I mention that it rains every day down here? ...Every, damday!
I should bottle some of it and ship it to @Pearl and @Patchouli .
You can keep the cold fronts, but we do have an overabundance of the other stuff. We are getting some of your humidity! I send you all those cold fronts, least you could do is send a little rain!!
Express AIR delivery might work!!You can keep the cold fronts, but we do have an overabundance of the other stuff.
...I just can't find a big enough bottle to ship it to you 'next day air' .
Now, now you gotta have 112 to play.106°!
Becoming a desert here!!Running 6 sprinklers every night for 45-60 minutes strictly for a boundary around house in case of fire. People are loosing chickens. Lady in Sunday School said they found bull dead this morning. 100 plus for month and NO moisture. Lows around 78 at night. I have faith we will get rain but temperatures are hard. Friend told me they finished combining corn and have baled corn stalks for first time. He said feast or famine
Is that yours? Now, now you gotta have 112 to play.
Our 'daily rain' was a dismal disappointment today .
Lots of loud boom-booms, fierce CTG lightening, but not enough rain to register on the gauge.
I'm thinking about filing a complaint, we are growing stuff down here!
...Did I mention that we grow thaheck out of strawberries?
I wish.Is that yours?
I am not worthy.
Ben
Great avatar! Its about 70 degs here right now, after a high of 80. No rain in sight. For the month of July we got one tenth of an inch of rain. We never get any rain in August or September, sometimes dry lightning though. One of our timber properties was in the middle of a 300,000 acre fire a few years ago. Every stick and tree burned. Two years ago an even larger fire burned to within a half mile from our property.
After Labor Day I can play if I roll 100°!Now, now you gotta have 112 to play.
