Ham and bean soup, cornbread, and salad. Husband on a diet, having salmon, salad, one sweet potato, and brussel sprouts.
Stay hydrated!!Nothing for me. Haven't been feeling well for a couple days.
My diet so far this year:...Husband on a diet, having salmon, salad, one sweet potato, and brussel sprouts.
Sounds like a great plan to me. I need to lost weight, and am searching for a plan.My diet so far this year:
Eliminate my Achilles heels...mostly:
- Breakfast: Oats (half rolled, half steel cut; no sugar or anything else, just oats)
- Lunch: Can of Kirkland salmon (the water and salt are seasoning enough)
- Dinner: What the wife cooks, but really focusing on eating smaller portions & stopping sooner, and starting with greens before going to the main course.
- Drink more water.
Also started doing mini workouts (push-ups, sit-ups/crunches, fast & repetitive bend-and-reach). Baby steps. When the weather gets warmer, I may venture out and start running again. Hoping the wife and I can get out occassionally and do some weekend hikes. We shall see how long this lasts, but I hope to get healthy in 2022.
- No alcohol during the week.
- No snacks during the week (except for fat-free, low-carb, such as fruit, pickles).
- No fast food at all.
