Last night I made muffin meatloaves (they cook faster when meatloaf is made in a muffin tin) baked potatoes, roasted vadalia onions, Normandy vegetables.

and slathered in chunked ragu sauce with a side of garlic bread and a sausage.

Ribs appeared at 10. Haven’t had ribs in years. Son-in-law does a great job cooking meat.

Will probably throw a bunch of burgers on the grill! We freeze some of them individually so if Hubby is home it's an easy good lunch!

Plans to eat these foods over the next several days: tater salad, cole slaw, chicken from the grill, usual vinegar cucumber tomato salad, fresh herbs in any of it like dill, basil, cilantro, but not the kind @hashbrown and @Wingnut use. Do they put the herbs they grow in their salads?
Bought some grilling charcoals and still haven't used them. There is a burn ban but it's okay to use the grill.
@sonya123 you're having bratwurst and some cabbage something or other? Sounds yummy.
@snappy1 I hope you have a great birthday dinner that you make ahead of time and can take it easy that day.
