NASCAR-style beer steamed chili dogs with Vidalia hunks and Jalapeno slices with Chinese mustard and Parmesan-chili fries with my proprietary sweet and sour super spicy ketchup, washed down with a coconut milk-based mocha with extra chocolate!

Who pulled an 18-wheeler up in the yard? Whooo!

Grilled Salmon, one of those Suddenly Salad packaged pasta things, tossed salad, and a Mama's Little Yellow Pils. Ice cream for desert. It's our typical Sunday night dinner with the son where calories aren't counted, and I typically go for a beer since I'm usually outside grilling, and that's what beers are made for!

I think lunch is going to be garlic bread baloney grinders in marinara dip.
I despise not being able to put Provolone on them anymore! damn guts!

Burritos, IF I have the energy to do all the prep work!!
I have been wanting enchiladas, it has finally cooled off enough to do them now

deconstructed lasagna, didn't have time to layer it didnt have lasagna noodles

yesterday I made something really good my mother used to make: green bean soup with lamb and Streuselkuchen ( it's a yeast cake with streusel and powdered sugar on top) , I ate so much my stomach hurt afterwards

tomorrow I am making Sushi with smoked salmon

That soup sounds fantastic! Family recipe, or can you share?

Huevos Rancheros

Large flour tortilla cut up into 3/4" squares scattered on the bottom, layer of black beans (pre-warmed), over easy eggs, green chili (pre-warmed), shredded cheese, into the microwave for one minute to melt the cheese, add toppings of sour creme, avocado. Will sometimes add a cooked chicken breast torn into shreds under the cheese, but not tonight.

I can share, and it's easy
fry some meat in pressure cooker ( I used lamb stew meat, but mostly my mother used beef) for a few minutes with a chopped onion and some garlic, add cut up green beans. It works great with green beans left on the plants a little too long. Add a cut up potato , some parsley, and you are supposed to use Bohnenkraut, but that doesn't grow here and the closest to it translated would be savory, which I don't have, so I used some Italian seasoning. Add 1 small chopped tomato. Add a beef or chicken bullion cube ( those go in all German soups ) , some salt and pepper, cook for about 20 minutes in pressure cooker. When done add some Maggie seasoning ( it's sort of like soy sauce, you can buy it in Asian groceries, maybe Aldi has it too)

The cake:
sweet yeast dough with streusel on top, that's it

this recipe is close, except I add a little cinnamon to my Streusel
