I made 3 pot pies yesterday but only ate 2. So today I am having #3 reheated in the microwave, a strawberry lite Greek yogurts, a peach lite Greek yogurt and some smokehouse almonds. I will drink a Dr. Pepper.

I made chicken curry to have with egg noodles and spring rolls for tonight, and meatballs are ready to go in the slow cooker for tomorrow night. Apple pie in the oven.
The wife is out of town & won't be back until after dinner. So my step father & I will be eating Little Cesar's pizza. Not the greatest pizza in town BUT it's ready & you can drive through. Those facts trump the taste of pizza.
Going out to the social club, they have a pretty good menu with lots of options.
Chuck roast with steamed veggies and roasted garlic mashed potatoes complimented by an ice cold sweet tea followed by a stent of rehab in my recliner. lol
Made picadillo and had the last of the elderberry pie.

In and Out Burger from the newly opened place. It's only the second In and Out burger I've ever had. The last one was more than a decade ago in Tucson.
Made rice and my favorite dipping sauce, nice and spicy. Steamed some dumplings.

B L T on wheat toast with real Mayo. This brand of bacon is best I’ve ever had. BACON, y’all. You know you love it. Mixed greens for the lettuce.

Probably is. Skin is crispy.
It's an old classic. I confess, this question caught me by surprise.
It's basically a thick roast beef (very thinly sliced) sandwich made with either a crusty French type bread or my preference, a dense bread like garlic ciabatta; something that doesn't disintegrate or go completely mushy when dipped into a cup of jus from the roast. It's the cow version of cookies and milk.
A good jus has a nice beef flavor from a pre- seared roast and shouldn't rely on commercial bullion powders. They don't have legit flavor and are way too salty.
Sorry, that came out as a bit of a lecture.

Chuck roast with Japanese spices. I think it was soy sauce and mirin and some other stuff. My brother made it in the pressure cooker. It's so tender you can cut it with a spoon. It's got a lot of liquid in with it so it's like a soup almost. Could use some veggies with it next time.
