Didn't sleep either last night there must have been something in the air.

Indeed! I think I'm the fourth one to report little sleep. Up since 3AM.

Today is mostly just an eBay day and a little house cleaning.

Apparently the rain is not happening today. Humidity was up a little to 8%.
Forecast is for rain the next three days. I'm hoping!

We have had a beautiful mostly cloudy cool for this time of year Spring. Thank goodness. Sometimes winter goes straight into summer here and that is hard on us and animals.
Hope you get the rain.

This is the basic recipe I follow. I double it to can in two crockpots so I do it less often. Basic stew without seasoning. Easy to me!

Thanks.yup.it's chep and easy.but with my budget n all.i wont double it.especily seeing how my sister gave me a large bag of dog food last month.in which it'll prolly last well into next year.seeing how my spoiled brat don't eat much dog food for some reason.lol

WVDragonlady...don't waste your money on the Tylenol Arthritis. Look at the ingredients (my pharmacist daughter tells me). It's just a higher amount of Tylenol, nothing else special in it. Look at the amount of Tylenol in it, and get the same store brand with the same amount. You'll save $$ for the same thing.
Off to get husband's breakfast made and lunch. Then to do the animals, then on to work. Would love to skip the work part today, but not happening. Class at 6 again this evening. Tonight we get to play tag team home invasion with the blue (fake) shotguns and pistols. Last night was New Mexico state law classwork.

oh yea! Always buy store brand. I got 25 more pills for $2 less than the name brand lol I just used the name brand so folks would know what I was talking about

daughter is out of hospital in california and headed home.youngest daughter and i have been peeling sweet taters that was in storage and had started sprouting. anyway we got them ready to make tater pies for thanksgiving. got enough to do 8 pies.:woo hoo: one less thing i will have to do .

Yesterday I moved hubbys jeep into the garage so his seats didn't get wet. The rain went around us. Its dark and overcast right now. Guess where hubbys jeep isn't...... With luck he'll have to take my jeep to work tonight, or drive with a wet rear end.

My evening view. This is at Grand Lake in Oklahoma.

I listed 4 items on eBay and that's it today! Zero energy or ambition.

I think my little dogs are having pollen allergy problems. DH going to try to get a vaporizer from thrift store tomorrow. Once a day (for 2 days so far), I've given them a small piece of benedryl which seems to help. Lots of sniffing snorting and reverse sneezing going on. I checked and our grass pollen is high and so is the height of our grass. Peanut's belly just drags in it. I started wiping her belly, toes, etc. with a damp cloth when she come in. Any other suggestions are welcome! Have a good evening!

Started off the morning with well thawing out in front of the fireplace and heating our water on the fireplace for hot chocolates as we got down to 0 oC here again this morning with a light frost.

After thawing out we packaged our dried lavender picked from the gardens to post. I checked online and found our local discount pharmacy had multivitamins and butter menthol's on super special and a local supermarket also had thin beef sausages advertised at a ridiculously low price. We purchased a years worth of multivitamins, 6 large boxes of butter menthol's for colds and flu and 6 kg of thin beef sausages to top up the meat freezer with.

Got home and DH had a nap and I caught up with the budget and logged all the expenditure for the day in the budget and had a play around with budget categories in credit and put the excess into other categories that were in the red and we are almost in the black on all now. When DH got up we folded up 3 loads of clean washing and put it away, DH washed the dishes and cleaned the benches and I dried them and put them away and we packaged the sausages making 36 more meals of sausages for the freezer and I wiped the benches over with hot soapy water followed by peroxide to sterilise them. We then dated the multivitamins and butter menthol's and put them in the medical bookshelf. I then deep cleaned the bathroom and toilet for the week and gave the kitchen and laundry areas a sweep.

Tonight's dinner will be homemade pizza with leftovers for tomorrow night's dinner too.

Just some easy weeding planned today. Gonna make some cookies early this morning before it gets hot. I have the windows and doors opened for the cool air. Gonna be a dry spell until tuesday!! Also gonna be hot ( near 90) until then.
Our pitbulls killed a small rat so we have to set some bait out for them again this year. We have a neighbor that has horses and also another one who has cattle, pigs and chickens so they both have grain and such around that draws the creatures. Also the ones with the horses wait until a pickup truck is full of their garbage before they take it to the dump so that draws rodents and other things ( the smell is disgusting). You will never see trash of any kind here at our place. Thats just nasty.

I am finishing a couple of projects today. I have inset the nuts on the icecream scoop and put the final coat of sealer on it so all that's left is to sharpen the edges so it is easier to scoop through the frozen icecream. I have backed up and duplicated my documents folder all 9500 files (all the files I have made) contained in 9.3GB. That doesn't sound like much but it is all the documents that I could never replace. To finish off the afternoon I with try to finish the cartridge case annealer that I designed and started a while back. It is designed to anneal 200 cases in about 40 minutes from a hamper. That gives me time to do other things while my cases are being annealed. Total cost for the annealer has been under $20. If I have any daylight left I have some forms to build for the new concrete ramp for the garage.
The plants have been or are being watered in the garden and all the seedlings are doing well. I harvested a bit of lettuce for a chicken Caesar salad for dinner.
I am being a bit lazy today due to an elevated amount of back pain today. If it gets too bad I may stop early.

@snappy1 if your dog can deal with it, a bath once or even twice a week while pollen counts are high. You said you wipe her down but maybe she needs more than that. Gosh, I hope it rains to knock some of that pollen out of the air there for you.

Think I'm going to take Peanut to the vet today. Hate to do it but I really hate to pay weekend rates at an emergency clinic! Aninja seems to be recovered whether it's pollen or flu but Peanut is older and doesn't seem any better. Not ready to lose another pup within a 3 week period. Will be back later to update.

Finished our range testing (100% whoot whoot!) and requalified for 45acp and 45 revolver. Just need to do fingerprints tomorrow. And then get all the paperwork with my passport in hand down to the proper office in Albuquerque. I think early settlers would think us nuts if they saw the hoops we have to go through to hide a loaded gun. We went out for pizza, after. Now I'm dead tired. I doubt that I'll make it up to watch Gunsmoke tonight.

Peanut has a respiratory infection and allergies. Has meds and already doing better! So glad I took her!

Now, if we were in a time with no doc available, I would give her a quarter of a cipro and a half of benedryl. But since we do...
