Yesterday was warm and breezy and most of the yard was dry. I trimmed the apple tree and grape vines.
Today, a very majestic spring day, just not here.

I took the day off to get some stuff done. My DMV physical is due in a month and I now have to prove I'm a us citizen to keep my license.
The sun is kinda out..its cold but at least we have sunshine.
Isn't that nuts? I know when OR began having to prove that, I had to order a birth certificate since if my folks ever had one for me, it was lost. They had the little hospital slip saying the Dr. etc. but that didn't work - The part that bugged me was that they already know!

Busy as usual today.
Cleaned the last stall for the last pregnant goat
started to ear tag the lambs ran out of tags
trimmed 1 sheep hoof
watched the little baby goats play, they are the cutest
made lunch out of stuff in the freezer, I want to use up older stuff before new stuff goes in
transplanted tomatoes from seed trays to larger pots. It makes them have better stems before they go in the garden
planted 1 row of onions
visited a friend's sheep farm to look at his lambs and say hi
did the laundry

Nothing much today. Had to make an emergency prescription pickup for the folks. Got back about dark.

Thinking, 49yrs ago tonight, an F4 tornado... the funnel was 1/2 mile wide with sisters dancing on each side. A few bad polariods of what was left of my home. You can see the fireplace, upper chimney is gone. A lot of clean up had been done in this first pic. More of the inner walls had been left although moved about. They are removed.

Just realized, something in the photos. We found someone's roof in our front yard. Never found out who's. It came from at least 20miles away.

A cousin came by and brought lunch from the barbeque place to visit with us and my sis. Then took the hr long drive to the airport so she can get back to Florida. Little granddaughter, who has extremely long hair, decided to cut it after school. Then she came crying to me because it looked awful. She didn't have bangs before, but now she has a large area of both sides of her face with shorter hair. Alot shorter. She is trying to copy a girl in school, one two years older, that is always in trouble...has pink hair, wears weird stuff and pierced her nose. She got the lecture of her life. We just got rid of trouble, I don't want anymore.
Planning to stay home for the most part, of tomorrow to get stuff caught up around here. I really do need to fertilize the fruit trees and berry bushes.

Get a hold on that little girl while you can!!

I slept until almost 4pm because I had trouble getting to sleep again. It got too hot and I had to get up and turn the AC on.
Sir Hammington is still missing. :-(
I visited my friend again and took him to get gas in his car and groceries. He won't be getting his paycheck for at least a week or more bc his employers kinda screwed him over. Fortunately for him, the contract ends next month and he can move to a more reliable employer.
Only did a little bit of cleaning and took some trash out today. Still feeling tired.

Yep, Utah has forgotten what spring is supposed to look like, We're under a winter storm warning today - supposed to get another 4-8". It's 25 this morning and I was sliding around on the roads taking my son to work. It's too late for an April Fool's joke like this

Weather across the world is mental- Spain is already having forest fires, and have turned off their public fountains etc to conserve water. The news reports some parts of southern England got over 300% more rain this spring, yet in other areas the rivers and reservoirs are at there lowest. We've had our wettest March ever, after an incredibly dry February.
Wishing you safe driving TeeJ - what will this do to the crops / growing season in Utah?

Magpie - thanks! I've got 4WD so travel isn't too bad and I can work from home when the weathers really bad. Crop wise it will probably balance out - a slightly shorter growing season but a lot more water available to water during the warm months. :)

Internet was out all day, yesterday. I got a lot done. LOL
Walked.
Made a low carb breakfast casserole.
Planted vegies in lick tubs.
Did laundry.
More ebay photos.
Gave Peanut Butter (dog) a bath.

Today, walked first.
Went to local grocery for sales.
Peanut Butter to vet for blood work. She is either diabetic, has kidney or bladder infection or has some type of kidney disease. We will get results tomorrow.
Went to auto parts store for horn to replace original that doesn't work.
Home and walked dogs.
That's enough!

Hoping just a bladder infection - the easiest of your list to treat 🙏

@MoBookworm1957
Good to see ya

Fixed some of the electric fencing that blew down from the wind. Today it was 80 degrees out. What is wrong with the weather?? It's been crazy lately

Made Chinese food for lunch ( Lo Mein )

Took dogs for a walk

Took care of the animals.
Actually took a break and watched some Netflix. Not much time for that lately but that's ok

Did clean up most of the day today at work. One of the machines lost power to all the computers n the whole side of the mill we can run went down. They finally got it all running after 8 hours..
I survived another round of layoffs..they were bringing alot of folks back but ..too many breakdowns n a machine they thought was back online isnt..
Its time to relax , catch up on news for a few n go to bed..I'm beat..

A couple weeks ago the company we get our horse feed from suggested buying early because they will be late getting the fields planted due to the snow and water in the fields. They are on the south side of the Salt lake City area but I believe they have land all around the area and in Idaho for crops.
The snow was definitely needed but it will create problems while helping with the water supply.

I did curbside pickup for stuff at Walmart that was listed online & was supposed to be in certain spots in the store but I couldn't find them when looking in the store. Got most of what I need to make a decent cushion for Mom's lap tray. The crap it came with was too small, understuffed, & didn't stay on. I'm going to make a larger cushion with a zipper so stuffing can be adjusted as needed.

Picked up my phone from the post office and headed over to the local AT&T store where the lady took my old sim card out, threw it in the trash before I could say I wanted to get stuff off of it, and she put in a new sim card in the new phone. After messing with it for a very short time she declared that it was not an unlocked phone and that she couldn't set it up for me and I was s.o.l. Old phone would no longer call out. She let me keep the new Sim card for free and I left mad as hell. My brother messaged our friend about the situation and friend said the AT&T lady was incompetent and to bring the phones over to him. He said she probably didn't insert the sim card correctly in the first place. I lost a little data bc I hadn't backed up my sim card recently enough. I planned to do it right before she took it out but it was too late. My friend used to work for AT&T and is very good with phones. People pay him to fix their phones and computers. Anyway, he got it set up and then it took over an hour to transfer all the data off the old phone. He said that its a good thing bc the battery is bloated and probably close to exploding. I've been trying to figure out the controls and how to get everything set up on it. But the charging cable it came with can't plug into any of my existing stuff. It's USB C to C and I don't have anything that is USB C. My wireless charging lamp has too big of a plug to put in my power strip without unplugging everything else. I need to get some sort of extension cord for it. Only other cords I had were for micro USB. Borrowed a cord from my brother for now. I can't tell whether or not it is charging though. It doesn't seem to be. I turned it off for now.

Also grabbed beef stew from a local place. Sitting here with my cats. Still no sign of the missing one.

I suppose there are necessary guidelines for the old fogeys who don't quit driving when they are no longer fit to, and when no one else in their family thinks to drive them to necessary places.
