Lizard men like white fluffy bunny tails, legs and other assorted parts. It is the frozen, cold, wet, miserable, curse upon mankind and Lizards --- SNOW -- in all it's evil forms.
In Ohio there is no such thing as fluffy snow. It's just hard and cold like chipped ice in s snow cone.

Power was off here this morning for about 4 hours. I was busy with some projects and the inspector came for the final inspection on the garage and about the time I was going to start the generator the power came back on again. I started the genny anyway because it was time for a test.

Checking in for yesterday and here is what we did. Between DH and I put on two loads of washing hung it on the line, brought both loads back in, folded up 3 loads of washing, stripped bed and remade it, DH washed up the dishes in the kitchen and cleaned the benches, DH vacuumed the whole house and I mopped all the floors in the house, we hand watered two loads of 200lts of grey water from showers and washing machine onto the lawns, DH fixed the front door flyscreen where neighbours dog smashed through it on the thundery day and fixed the drip irrigation pipe in the front gardens that had split and he put on the drip irrigation systems to water the garden, I deep cleaned the bathroom and toilet for the week. Last nights tea was bacon and eggs with mushrooms.

This morning heading off to the chapel to do a garden makeover part 1 so this morning we will strip a large garden bed of all the overgrown plants and do a tip run with them to dispose of them. Probably be a 3 or so hours good solid work for DH & I and two friends. Decided since most of our members are elderly and the usual most don't help save the STP (same ten people) we shall do it ourselves it is far quicker and easier and the 4 of us are looking forward to seeing the chapel gardens looking beautiful. We look at it this way "when you are in the service of your fellow beings you are only in the service of your God" .

Trying to hibernate in the house to not get any sicker.
Good time to work on the memorial plaque I’ve been trying to finish before the celebration of life at the end of the month. Why oh why did I decide to do something so detailed! I’m too darn stubborn to not finish it
