I took a rattle can and repainted the garage door to hide all the grease, dirt and stains from me entering the house after working on stuff. LOL I even took a heat gun to it so it would dry better in this 12 degree weather. :-(

I woke up early (that was rough!) and took the kiddo to daycare. I came back and found out that I had no hot water coming to my kitchen sink. My neighbors came up to help me deal with the water and the wife helped me clean my kitchen. My kitchen looks amazing now!!

The heating oil is literally on its way and I am trying to finish up a jar of Nutella :) It counts as cleaning if you finish the jar, right? :D

So is the water heater gas or electric?

Got my glasses today and I like them! Get a little dizzy but I think that will change and hopefully soon. Did monthly Walmart shopping. Took some eBay photos. Had a little older lady come visit for awhile. made a cabbage and sausage saute. That was enough.

Just in case you want to know what a bull elk looks like drinking from a birdbath. This one came three times last night. I guess he hoped I had refilled the birdbath.

Not enough Snow Fall yet, this year. Not a good sign. Tag Application opens this month. Im "Putting In" for 6A this year (Jacks Point). I sure hope you get more Snow up there.

I've read recent posts but not all in the last few days.

All I've been doing today is trying to keep things warm. Dang, it's cold outside. About -20° or so with wind chill.

Both wood stoves are barely hanging on. Might have to turn on the furnace. Wood stoves have no problem keeping the house (proper) warm but the garage and sub-garage (we have a 2-story garage) also need to stay above freezing otherwise some preps will freeze.

My late husband's parents have been helping with things around the house and watching my son while I was able to get some more rest. I am on my last day of antibiotics and I have a feeling I will be back at a doctor's office soon :(

My son is currently hiding puzzle pieces from his brand new puzzle. Never a dull moment here!

Today I cleaned the chimney and fireplace since it was above freezing and the chimney needed it. Then brought in wood and brought a load closer to the house, after that I went and located my main power coming from the road to the house and started digging my new pond. Its going to be smaller than I wanted since the power line runs pretty close to one side. Reason for the pound is for irrigation, It is not easy to get a big pump with big power across the highway to the river so the plan is to put a smaller pump that can run longer and keep the pond full and put the big pump at the pond, plus I get a pond and where I built it it will get filled by my seasonal stream that runs through my property.

:woo hoo: Victory for Buildit!
I’m working on Christmas thank you cards since I’m still sick.
Hubby’s is out shooting
Yeah, but just think when he's sick and stuck in bed....... You'll be stuck inside taking care of him.

I have to admit, I thought I got a good brand of paint (olympic) but it is taking three coats just to get good coverage over the existing paint. I wanna keep going but my arm is ready to fall off now and my painting is getting sloppy because I'm getting worn out. A little bit further and I'm calling it a night.
