@Sewingcreations15 I mean Arnie :) it's a lot of work, but I always liked getting wood. And you'll sure be glad to have it when it's all split and stacked and ready to go in the stove when needed. Glad hubby is doing better. You two make a mighty team.
@Frodo Loving your "daily avatars" - crack me up 😂 Need that as things have been a little tense over the past month or two.
@MoBookworm1957 That's awesome! Most dogs need miles to keep them sane. She will probably respond to you better with less pent up energy.
@snappy1 Just curious from a society standpoint - is ebay still rolling pretty well or have sales slacked off? It surprises me what folks spend $ on and what they skip paying and what they think they need etc. Hope you are still doing well regardless.

Today is just work out and have some fun, hubby even slow danced with me which is seldom since for some reason backing up hurt him so my old dance partner is out of order.

First I watered all the half dead plants and held back from killign our hens for scratching in my alredy sick flower bed.

@Bacpacker I have two squash and one is a lemon suash which I really need to keep alive for the seeds. If I get any I'll send yall some.

See the poor little lonely lemon squash,

@The Lazy L Bet it's looking nice. Probably after a rain to "settle" it, it will really look nice.
@Amish Heart We are down to 37 active cases in our county but they don't advertise that. And in order to move to the next phase, have to have declining number for 3 weeks. Our gov. would love to chip everyone.

I just ordered a jug. Jim, your rep is riding on this.:good luck:

I know nothing or nobody.

It was raining when I got up this morning..it has not stopped all day, still raining.
Fed the the mutt.
Went to maibox,
My tail light louvers , for the Vette came.
Put those on...I like em..looks different.

Set in the garage watching the rain for a while..
Do nothing day.

Back yard is standing water.

May go to bed , after 6 o'clock news .. :ghostly:

I know thats why I'm trying to save this last one we have. I can't find them either.
We just went out and covered the lonely little thing wwith wire so rabbit doesn't get it. Garden area is suppose to be rabbit proof but they found a way in.

A few years ago we put wire on ground out about 2 ft and ran chicken wire up 2 ft against welded wire.Kept them out for past few years but now I see a rabbit now and then plus it ate our sweet potato slip vines.:ghostly:

Listened to our governor address the stay at home order that expires on Friday. We will be on an improvised level one come Saturday. So, we still have to stay at home. But: churches can open at 10% capacity, non essential businesses can open at 25% capacity. Still closed: malls, restaurants, entertainment places, hair salons, other salons. Also Gallup, N.M. can't open non essential, and neither can 2 other counties. Everyone must wear a mask in public. Everyone. She says, "We're all in this together, New Mexico". And maybe we can get to level 2 in June sometime. It depends on our "behavior" if we reach our "goals" in June.
Husband will be looking like a hippy in a month. My cousin can give him a bowl cut.

I worked much of yesterday afternoon on the old tractor and cultivators. I re-prepped much of the garden.

Today I planned to plant watermelons, rest of the sweetcorn and cantaloupes. I got nothing done outside, just to tired.

I got some plant posts done for the forum. Tonight I shopped for a new foodsaver. My old one was having trouble pulling a vacuum a few weeks ago. I cleaned it really well and tested it, worked fine. This afternoon I tried to vacuum seal $20 worth of chicken wings. It would not hold a vacuum...

Oh well, guess I know where part of the stimulus check is going. I was looking at the model 3920, out of stock everywhere but food saver, of course they want $40 over retail plus shipping... :(

My current failing one is a model 3230, my 2nd or 3rd one, don't remember. I got 2 years of heavy use out of it, far more than the average house hold.

@Double R VacMaster you say? I'll look them up.

VacMaster VP215 Chamber Vac is what I have. I got it on sale and it’s more than paid for itself. The bags/rolls are FAR cheaper and much heavier duty also. Can reuse them a lot.
I break down whole animals and work it to death. Also fruits, veggies, berries, dry products, you name it. They are maintainable and easy to service.

We got 10 hanging flower baskets finished and hung up. All the drip irrigation to them is completed. I got all my garden drip irrigation completed and now it's just a matter of watching the veggies grow.
I wish I knew how to get drip irrigation set up. Do you hook into an irrigation system for your lawn?

Managed to shovel two wheel-barrel loads of 73s, dump and level before the thunder carried out its threat of rain.

Indoor project. Unload and move gun safe and storage shelves away from the wall. Remove the one panel of unfinished drywall. Tap into the existing electrical to add an electrical outlet. Reinstall the drywall panel and while the safe is out of the way finish drywalling the wall. Drill a hole through the safe. Insert rubber grommet into the hole. Put power cable for the Golden Rod dehumidifier though the grommet. Liberally apply fire seal caulk on and around the grommet on the outside and inside of the safe. Put the storage shelves and safe back against the wall. Plug the Golden Rod into the new electrical outlet. Reload the shelves and safe. The now unneeded desiccant packs will be donated to the sons or trashed. I anticipate that as soon as I'm committed to the above the sun will replace the rain...

I gave up on foodsaver a while ago. Couldn’t get them to consistently work or last. I do use them more than most probably do. Saved up and got a VacMaster. Have had it several years now and use it A LOT.

Never heaard of Vac Master,we have Food Saver for about 8 or 10 years now so far works fine but then we don't use it as much as most of you. Can't afford the bags.

Cutting curly hair is easy,it forgives ,but straigh hair shows every tiny mistake. Lucky hubby and I both have curly or wavy hair.

I will be whining all day about being ripped off on ebay
I bought 4 gallons of epoxy resin and the guy never shipped them.
I will get my money back, but it pushes back my project a week.
the epoxy is for the counter top the new flooring is onsite
I want to finish the counter top before doing the floor. because i am messy...lol

Made some sausage from a pork shoulder last night. For seasoning I used a pound of cotto salami i tossed into the grinder. and garlic powder.
It was an experiment that turned out yummy
UP date on my whining
