I like it at least its ' change' we can all enjoy.:huggs:
Change? Somebody say Change?
lemmie look at the dates on your change
I ''click clack'' I buy boxes of change from the bank, open them up and mine the rolls for certain dates and silver.
remove those coins, add noncollectable coins then return to the bank

Went to the store, I am now retired & in lieu of a solid Gold Watch, I got $10.00 for every year I worked for the company. $10.00 X 37 =$370.00
The beef was shy high & very little to choice, the meat manger said everyone home & no ones cutting up meat at the distribution center.
So I got chicken,fish, cheese & 6 packs of bacon, they only let me buy 3 ;( ;(. But I bought 3 ;).

Demoed the wood floor in the kitchen yesterday
the epoxy should be here for the counter tops friday

counter tops are wood bead board and i am adding clear epoxy on top
I'd love to see pics. I'm interested in how the epoxy works & the best methods, although I see it's been delayed due to the ebay seller never shipping it. I'm planning to help my friend make a fold-down table & we still haven't figured out what to use for the tabletop & I was thinking an epoxy over something would be cool, but wonder how hard it would be to do it.
Well, this new ceramic coating stuff is a protector of a good finish.

My experience is , I am really impressed with it.

I have coated the black Vette twice , waiting 12 hours between applications.(recommened, takes 20 minutes each time), the Cadillac once, the wife's SUV once, used about 1/6th if the bottle.
I've never seen anything shed water like this.
And , nothing sticks to it. I tried sticking masking tape to it...will not even try to stick.

JMHO

Technogolgy.

I think once I get my truck cleaned up the finish will be good before I put on a coating. Can the coating be put over an existing clearcoat from the car wash? and can it go over windshields?
I'll have to mention the product to my brother-in-law for his Corvette. He has a black one too.
73 limestone is crushed limestone no larger then 1" in diameter with fines. 2" or deeper low spots. When compacted it is almost like concrete.
I wonder if that would work well in my friend's driveway. It is full of pits that constantly fill with water & it gets muddy & vehicles get stuck. How much does the stuff cost?

I made a trip this morning to go to the store to get groceries & pick up Mom's RX. Nearly hit a turkey that ran in front of my truck. I hit the brakes and the turkey ran in front and did a panicked hop & wing flap at the last moment. Normally the wild turkeys travel in a group but I didn't see any of the others. Got home & the freezer didn't want to stay shut, a bunch of stuff fell out & I was getting pissed off trying to get stuff to stay & for the door to not pop open. I finally got my brother to come help because I was ready to break something. He managed to find the item that was blocking the door from shutting properly. It was up on a higher shelf.
A cat fight ensued & I had to rescue Lady Sylvanas from her brother Yasuke. No idea why he went full a-hole mode & attacked her. He bit her on the anus & she was bleeding. Poor baby. I've got her in my room curled up on a fuzzy blanket. She loves it. Bethesda is on my feet, Princess is passed out at the foot of my bed, Predicate is on my arm with his head on my left hand, Ginger is in a basket grooming herself, Boo is on a box sleeping, and Rupert is sitting on a shelf next to my door sulking because he wants out & I don't feel like moving.
It's currently raining so my plan to go for a walk got nixed.

🌟Congratulations on retirement Joel.

Predicate ,was that the name of the bull in the classic ' The Rare Breed' ? A great movie.

Meerkat, I forgot to mention that it's very sweet that your husband slow danced with you.

I also forgot to mention that I really wish my mother would get a new desk. She has what she calls a "swiss army desk" that is supposed to be able to fold up but she has so much junk on it that it's impossible to fold it up- plus it's crappy & would fall apart if you tried to move it. I've been trying to get her to get a new desk but she can't find anything she likes & most of the stuff is particle board garbage.
But I saw this desk: Traditional Corner Desk & Hutch | Amish Traditional Corner Desk & Hutch - Country Lane Furniture

It's on the right track to what I think would be a great desk for her. I would need the lower back panels cut for electrical outlets, would need to be wider on the left, and keyboard tray area would have to be replaced/removed in favor of the adjustable keyboard tray we put on her current desk that tilts, swivels, and can move up & down. I'd want a shelf to lift her monitor up so stuff can go underneath & have a place to mount the speakers. I'd have cutouts in the desktop for computer wires, and the desktop on the right would have a ridge at the back to keep stuff from falling off. I'd get it in cherry stain. Wish I was good enough at building stuff to make her a desk like this. It would need to have a lot of shelves & have a way to keep cats off of the shelves.

I have no idea. I never saw that movie. But it sounds a bit like "pretty cat" & he is a beautiful cat. I helped deliver him when he was being born & cleaned the gunk off of his face. He's a little obsessed with me-- always wants to climb on my shoulder & be carried, sleeps with his face pressed against mine, & follows me around the house.

Thank you Zanne and yes it was nice of hubby to dance it hurts him to back up aka walk or step backwards. The 3 cages and 2 rods they put in are defective and crooked, you can see it on xrays plain as day 'barbaric, imo but he had no feeling at all from waste down but pain, or control of bowels or kidneys,so what do you do?.
He also doesn't like to drive where his arms are always up and out,but he is basially fit considering.
I think that Amish Desk is beautiful! I bet ot really cost a lot though.

Surface has to be free of contaminates. A good base is necessary.
It's really made for clearcoat finishes.
I have used it on my glass and synthetics.

Whatever you put it on is for protection and high gloss.
Crappy base finish will not look like glass.

Can't make silk out of a sows ear , they tell me.

I've used top shelf polishes and waxes on my cars and trucks for years.... but never had anything shine or protect like this.

Problem is most people think more is better...it's not.
Very light mist..wipe then wipe again . Till fill shine.
Too much leaves streaks and smudges....ask me how I know .

It really fully cures in 12 hrs , then I do a second coat for even more shine.

Wife can't believe how her car shines and how slick it is.

There are many brands on the market...but I been using Meguiars products for many years I think they are the best product and price.

Spent this morning filing a fraud report with my states unemployment agency.

Got an email from HR at work asking if I filed for unemployment. Apparently some scammer created an account using my name and SSN to try to scam some unemployment benefits.

HR has obviously denied the claim and I decided to report the breach myself as well.

Of course there's 0% chance of speaking with an actual individual, and actually going to a physical office is out of the question right now, so I had to resort to email to report the fraud.
Then I went to the Identity Fraud website for the Fed Gov and filed a claim there.

Mrs. Sparky is checking my credit files, but those have been frozen for years now, so nobody's opening any credit accounts in my name anytime soon.

My info had to have been exposed in some data breach, just not sure which one.

So frustrating...

I had pretty good day today far as productive. I crank the Nissan after months of working on it , total rebuild. golf cart is fixed and Van is fixed and next is the May Flower as Meerkat calls it.

Anyway feeling pretty good about my accomplishments right now. :)

I no longer have steam coming out of my ears.
Nor do I have steam coming out of the top of my head.
Amazing as soon as you mention you're filing a complaint with the BBB,Consumer Reports and Fraud Hot line against Fed Ex.
Which I did promptly after getting hung up on after waiting 45 minutes to speak with customer service rep.
My first missing package from 4 weeks ago, made it's appearance this morning at 0900 hours this morning.
My second missing package missing from 2 weeks ago, made it's appearance at 1245 hours this afternoon.
My third missing package missing from a week ago today, made it's appearance at 1800 hours this evening.
All were delivered to the local Wal*Mart where they have been lounging around.
While I have been stewing for my fabric so I can finish several quilts.
Now I am waiting on UPS to deliver my new shoes.
They were supposed to be delivered by 1700 hours tonight.
Nope didn't happen.
It's amazing that before this virus, everybody knew where I lived.
Now because everybody is on lock down.
Most delivery service has s*** for brains.
Walked almost 3500 steps on swollen feet today.
Strawberry walked every step with me.
Cooked a wonderful meal in the oven.
Low and slow pot roast, drunken mash potatoes, honey glazed carrots with Merlot wine sauce.
Hot rolls.
It will be enough for several days.
Had several windows open today for cross breezes.
Worked on children's cross stitch quilt tops.

I layed out about 15 rows in the garden for seed. I hand dropped about 80lbs of volcanic rock in the furrows. Maybe tomorrow I'll get seed planted and fertilizer dropped.

Watching tv tonight... Forrest Gump is on. Oh dozed off after supper. Just went and put the peeps up in the coop. 3 or 4 of them have decided they would rather roost out side the coop which means I have to put them in every night.

Yesterday after normal morning activities, I raked in back garden and transplanted tomatoes, made an appt at local bank to open a regular account just for eBay as they are changing their policies. Don't want eBay or pay pal anywhere near my regular banking accounts! Sat with DH for his Tele-health doc appt, then had my first Zoom Bible Study.

Today after normal stuff, I washed rugs, towels and blankets, worked more in garden and put out fertilizer since rain was on the way, made sweet potato treats and rice for dogs and watched some netflix with DH.

I have been run ragged with the two gardens. Not that big but all is done by hand (except tilling). We are supposed to get more rain tomorrow, so I may take a little break from that.

You have to wonder if you would have ever gotten your packages if you hadn't made threats. Absolutely crazy that they had the packages hanging around and couldn't be bothered to deliver them.

Cleaned out all of my worm farm and fed the worms to the chickens. There were a ton of worms in the trays, I was surprised. Wondered what generation of worms I was on...ordered the initial batch years and years ago. There were a lot of babies in there. Washed it all out and got it boxed. Will order more after we move. I think the rest of our hens are getting sold and picked up this weekend, and a few roosters will be going, too. Just placed our chick order (75) to arrive a few weeks after we do. Starting again, and with my favorite breeds. Made a dent in the garage, cleaning out and boxing.

I went ahead and ordered more epoxy from a different co. while the amazon bs was going on. it will be here today. after 3pm.
applying the epoxy is really very simple. it is the prep work and clean up that is the hard part
as far as what you need. figure a gallon of mixed will cover 12 sq ft at 1/4'' depth as your guide to what to buy. gallon of mixed is around $60.00 shipped
I am buying from Extremeresin.com

Your post made me chuckle and I thank you for that. It reminds me of my on going war with fed ex around here. my UPS driver is a distant kinfolk. Like a 7th cousin removed or something. We call it dog kin. anyway. Bubba is cool I never have any problems. My USPS mail person is my wifes Brothers, wifes Brothers wife and next door neighbor. No problems there. THEN we have the fed ex dude that is a total fug up. He stopped out in the street and dumped off my smoker. then left. I was like WTH? He literally kicked it out the back of the truck in front of my house in the street.
I called fed ex and yelled for about 5 minutes.
I have figured out that fed ex will HOLD your package a day or 2 and wait till they have more packages to deliver in your area if you are rural. I have caught them doing that.

@Amish Heart I tried farming worms last year but I did not do a good job at all. Maybe I need to read up on it more. Are they really that hungry? I had captured some that were quite large, had them at least 3 months but by the time I decided to put them out, the large ones were all gone and there were only a few small ones.

I need to put you in touch with BIL. He worked for the fed gubment feeding worms that lived in the soil dredged up from the Mississippi River so they could ascertain?????
HELL who knows what the corp of engineers was doing. BUT BIL fed the worms and had to have a degree to do it. so...

I do know that BIL needed a 5 gallon bucket. I told him to go to home depot and buy one. BUT BIL said he had to fill out a requisition then turn it in. He said 3 months later some dude went to home depot and bought a bucket

We started off with our usual couple of cups of hot chocolate and planned tasks for the day together . Before I had my first hot chocolate though I stain removed some clothing and got on a load of washing in the washing machine.

After a bit of time on the internet etc and balancing more banking household transactions I swept around the fireplace to get rid of dust and wood chips and deep cleaned both bathrooms and toilet for the week. DH vacuumed the whole home and stain removed some more clothing and got another load of washing on.

We made the bed with fresh sheets and I put fresh towels in the two bathrooms and we then sat down to have lunch.
We then drove to the post office and picked up some parcels that had arrived as well as other mail.

As we have some restrictions lifting here in Queensland we are allowed to open the RSL sub branch here as of tomorrow with up to 10 patrons which of course includes social distancing. DH and I had volunteered to deep clean the inside of the club with a couple of other friends but unfortunately our friends had gone firewood cutting and were completely had it when we texted them so it was just the two of us cleaning.

We started off wiping all surfaces over with soapy water and then followed it up with a good wipe over of disinfectant solution. This included chairs, tables, pool table, pool cues, doors, door handles, cupboard handles and fridge handles, toilets and the bar area. We then mopped the floors twice once with soapy water and once with a disinfectant solution. All the glass doors and display counters were also cleaned with methylated spirits as were the metal chairs. It took us 4 hours in total to finish it but it sparkles and smells pine fresh ready for our opening tomorrow afternoon.

The president was setting up displays of RSL items we had purchased to sell and he will be wiping over all the outside courtyard tables and chairs tomorrow morning.

Drove home where after a bit of a break we had dinner which was something easy being devon and cheese on bread rolls.

There is a coon that's been patrolling around the house in the evenings. Eating the stray cat’s food and digging up wife’s freshly planted flowers. From observations the coon patrol is routinely between 5 PM and 6 PM.

Wife says I should do something! The look I got when I suggested stop feeding the cats in the evening (no food equals no coon) told me that wasn’t an option.

Thursday around 4:30 PM I saw movement under the raised chicken coop. Might be a coon or one of the the stray tiger cats. Got my S&W 15-22 and checked around the coop and behind the shop, nothing. I setup a lawn chair outside by the back garage door and sat down to watch. Hopefully the house is blocking the wind from carrying my scent in the direction the coon could come from. Because of the thunderstorm I’d be surprised of any animals are out and about. A few minutes pass before a large tiger cat pears at me from around the corner of the garage. The size and color of the cat, bet that is what I saw under the coop. Then a black and white cat stepped out of the woods. Just as it prepares to jump across the drainage ditch a chorus of young dogs started yapping and howling. The tiger and black/white cat run for cover! Starts to rain again so I move the lawn chair just inside the back garage door. Just after 5:30 the overhead garage door starts to open (wife is home). The noise of the overhead door opening has startled something in the drainage ditch, I can see the back of something bobbing east at a run towards the culverts. Half way between the footbridge and the culverts a coon’s head appears. Coon puts its front paws on the top of the retaining wall to stand upright exposing the top half of its body. Green dot on center of mass with a slow trigger pull…BANG! Coon falls backward. Then I see the coon’s back moving west in the drainage ditch between a run and a walk for fifty feet before it exits the ditch to flop in the brush. Now a neighbors house is involved. The odds of a 22 skipping off the ground to travel though the woods to hit the neighbor’s house is slim but it's a chance I’m not going to take. Doesn’t matter, the Coon has now flopped out of sight. I wait for the rain to let up before I go look for the coon. I can’t find the carcass. I’m sure I hit it. I relocate a trail cam to cover the ditch. Time will tell.

Hey, Patch...I raise them in the Worm Factory 360 and they stay put. They do eat a lot, though. They travel up the trays that have little holes. Harvesting the worm casings is a little gross, though. Can get a gallon ziplock bag of casings from each tray when they're done with a tray and they move up to another. Casing is just another word for slimy worm poop. Little granddaughter was helping and found that out. I've tried in ground worm area, and they all took off. Either that, or got eaten by centipedes.

Been out in the garden getting things planted. Taking a break right now drinking some water and eating a banana
Have more to plant
Also have some laundry to get to today
Need a shower after planting since it so humid out. geesh
Plan on reading some
I need to buy a portable radio so I can listen to the local radio station while I'm outside working. Would love one of those old type transistor radios like I used to have lol
The station isn't on Iheart so I can't get it through my phone either. They've been really keeping folks up to date on everything going on right now in the state and locally. My county is considered a "hotspot" right now since we have 200 positive cases here and 6 dead. So stupid though. I can go get a tan at a tanning booth but I can't get my eye glasses repaired if I need to. Can't go to a restaurant if they don't have outdoor seating, but I can go to walmart, lowes or home depot where there are people everywhere ( ok sorry rant off lol)
