Yesterday we cleaned the chimney out on the fur shed, stacked hay in the barn and looked at a JD grain drill, and bought it. I'll pick it up in a couple of weeks. It looks in pretty good shape. Once I get it home I'll go through it, grease it and replace a couple of parts. Its an old seeder but should work good for our needs. It has both boxes, one for grain and one for grass and alfalfa seeds.
We got about 3 inches of snow last night and this morning.

Decent looking drill. How wide is it? 16' or so?

Well, this old tightwad finally spent some money...
My elbow spends all day, every day on the hard armrest of my chair.
The skin on my elbow (which I cannot see) got in bad shape and had a scab on it.
I fought with it, and finally pulled it off.
What I could not see was, it was dripping blood on my jeans.
I knew this problem won't go away, so I ordered an elbow-pad to go on the chair.
It even came with a backup for when/if I mess it up.

Got up, worked out, went swimming, sat in the hot tub, came back to the apartment complex, said goodbye to the girl who is staying at a friends until tomorrow afternoon, ran some errands, went to the range, wasted some ammo, went out to the storage unit, ran a couple more errands, came back home, met mega-Karen's husband in the office are and was shocked to find out he's a normal person, also he is definitely cheating on her, talked to the lady a few times through the course of the day, made up some pico de gallo for dinner, turned on the television, grabbed my laptop, poured a glass of sugar free iced tea and that brings you up to my current state of affairs.

Puttered around, put some of the outside stufff away, visited with our neighbors. Actually doing a little relaxing. While I was out, Dad emptied the pantry cupboard and packed that up. Left the boxes on the floor for to move. Reminded me, with a smile, he’s not to do any lifting or carrying.

My lifetime trick or treat candy distribution score is now officially 3/3. A boy in a hazmat suit, a little girl riding a dinosaur and another little girl dressed as a bee. There was a 4th kid who looked to be 12 or so but he was "too old" to trick or treat so he declined a piece of candy. The only allow trick or treating between 4pm-7pm so I have two hours left to improve my score.

Well Dr visit went good. Talked about the Stents I got a Vandy. She looked over the full report and told me what some stuff meant. Apparently I got 3 stents, 2 of which are coupled in my LAD. That artery is called the Widowmaker. I was very fortunate. Upped the dose on one of my meds, and said everything else was looking good. I see the Vandy Dr on the 12th and will have another Echo right before that appointment. Hopefully that all shows good results. I start Rehab for real tomorrow afternoon.

Another day in the garden but completely WITHOUT with the arm immobilizer. Starting to get some strength back again.

@ThePrincess seems to be getting comfortable with a retirement date. She used to grimace when I mentioned a day count. Today she just smiled.

181 days

No traffic on road ..wonderful
Goodness I love it when I see nobody LOL
Except just few who are thinking like I do
I did ban from my life those who dont love animals like I do

Wish you a great relaxing night to those animals lovers
I have so much feelings for them!!!!

Now I just relax...everybody are sleeping right now
Miss Ruben always look at me like if I am a Hollywood Star 🤣

As T&T time comes to a close, and the sign has just been removed from my door, my lifetime trick or treat candy distribution score is now officially 6/6. And rest assured each of those 6 children received several pieces of candy. The dead sleepy eyes of the parents who were escorting them around also reminded me that getting a vasectomy was definitely the right choice. 🎃

No energy today, went up before lunch and futzed around with a few little things by the shed. Redid the barbwire between the gate post and loading chute, moved and tightened the strands, got it looking decent. Used the tractor and chains to yank out all the old hog wire and barbwire half buried in that area. Got the steel and aluminum wire into separate piles for the scrap dealer. Then I got all the mini-stumps cut to ground level (from the brush removal). Walking in that area is easier now. Wasn’t up to dealing with the surplus generators. Stopped for lunch and didn’t go back out till late afternoon.

Talked to a cousin on the phone, he’s gonna help me pull the blades off the bush hog and sharpen them. I went up and sprayed liquid wrench on the bolts that I’ll need to remove. Gonna let the spray soak in for a few days so the job will go easier. Fed and watered the calf then called it a day. Debating tonight whether to spray the bolts on the old pull type bush hog. It's blades haven't been sharpened in 30yrs. Don't know if i could even get them off. I'll inspect it tomorrow and decide.

Coffee, realizing I might have started another make things better domino effect with the firewood system "improvements". but in the end the extra set of stuff will be really handy. A n improved 3 point fast hitch (not a monkey copy IHCs system) and a "turn table" tractor end of long log moving
Did you (or are you going to) put it in your firewood thread?
