Got up, argued with myself for several minutes, slowly drug my backside down to the fitness center, noted that there were a lot more people there post-Thanksgiving than on T-day, worked out, strolled over to the hot tub for a soak, returned to the apartment, made some coffee, climbed in the big chair with a cup and a computer. That brings us to the here and now. The lady will get up eventually and then I will get cleaned up. Seems she is taking me to see the house she wants to buy today, if I want to go or otherwise. I like a feisty woman.
Coffee, fed the stove a nice big breakfast of wood, waiting for the sun to come up, then prolly find some more firewood

A bit brighter today.. Calm and cold as an old girlfriends heart.. Winter storm advisories, warnings of various levels across most of the northern tier of states..
Otherwise doing well.. Leftovers in the fridge, dishes done, laundry done, garbage out.. Coffee and a banana for breakfast.. Will get out today for a McDonalds coffee, just because I can..

To answer the original question NOTHING!! I don't want to go anywhere or have to do anything on Black Friday.
I think I will make a batch of biscuits we can all enjoy. Ingredients are all in the house.

I ate banana waffle with banana slices sour cream
and some of my favorite dessert spices powder over it

Today was a bit traumatic; I let the 6 month old kittens out of the window (back of the house) the dogs were fenced in on the other side. When I called them back because I was going out, the black one, Pucá was missing, and the other was up a tree. I found Puca dead in Trips kennel, so she must have wandered around, or he jumped out and grabbed her. I never heard a thing.
As he's already killed hens twice, I can't trust him - I've other animals to consider- and so took him to be put down. I bawled, of course. Now I have my daughter, Pucás owner, coming home for the weekend to vote, and I'll have to tell her. She'll get over it of course, but it puts a cloud over everyone.

I'm so sorry about the kitten! We couldn't trust one of our rescues and had to have him put down. It's so sad!
My legs are shot today, painful. That step ladder did me in yesterday. Didn’t intend to do any wiring but… heard the washing machine start. Dad plugged it into one of the many extension cords I have in the laundry room. So… I had to climb that step ladder once again. Took 3 trips up the ladder to get power from the fuse box to the clothes dryer. At least dad can now do all the laundry he wants. I made home fries and added some sausage, had a leisurely brunch. Now I’m just gonna watch a ball game or two. Might do some laundry myself later.
That is why I keep all my CATS in the house

Yeah, they've been inside. I just needed to clean their area and get them used to being outside. The last set of bottle babies I did wore diapers, but they weren't all that effective!Looks like a house pet to me, lol!!
Bringing firewood in the house. Getting tomorrow's cleaning supplies ready. I'm cleaning my building in the morning before my big job so I can stay home Sunday!! Feeding the critters soon, brushing Buddy. Already brushed Sammy cat and Bear! May hang out in Hubby's shop for a bit this evening, he's rebuilding a carburetor on a nice little Echo 280 chainsaw!

Brought our daughter, the boyfriend, and little granddaughter to visit favorite cousin's place. Had some pumpkin cake and homemade yogurt and good coffee while there, and one of her granddaughters was in town, too, and haven't visited with her for awhile. Back home to do husband's medical needs, restart the fire. Going to take them to the fowl auction in just a bit that's down the road. Will have to bundle up. It's cold outside.
Trying to switch lap tops...this old one has a junk battery so it just shuts off every now and then but immediately can be restarted. Then it stopped letting me download photos from my camera, thenitstoppedworking when I tap the space bar.
I have another used laptop but I have to find or redo passwords etc etc.
Oh well lots of left overs to eat today.
Couldn't get my feet into my cheap rubber chore boots I left out on the back porch this morning because they were too frozen.....it must be getting close to winter.

Did as little as possible today. Had a scare with mom’s oxygen levels early. PT lady was coming anyway. Things had stabilized by then so it’s all good. Saw a couple coyotes crossing the highway by the end of the driveway. By the time I got to a rifle all I could do was shoot sending the message it’s not safe around here.
Too funny, this afternoon dad wanted me to get him some cat food for the barn cats. Seems he goofed when he bought some monday. He thought he was buying a bucket of feed… turns out it was a bucket of Tidy Cat litter.
(they’re barn cats, he doesn’t buy litter, he just saw a cat on a bucket and thought it was kibble)
Watched some football, have laundry going at the moment. Going to fix supper in a bit.

. Looking at the bright side- we should be getting lots of points on our credit card 
. (We do pay it off each month). Hubby is expert level so he’s an expensive date.
Came home and made triple batch of fish shaped cookies for FILs 90th Birthday party Sunday.
Then I made a honey bourbon glaze while Hubby prepared a ham for the smoker - it’s on the smoker now.
Finally sitting for a few minutes.

Today we loaded all the split firewood in the wood shed, cleaned out the septic drain and built a fire in the fire pit. We're all sitting around the fire right now. Not sure how cold it is but our drinks are getting slushy. The wife is making enchiladas for dinner.
I still have a couple of cords of wood left to split.

Our dog is rather submissive acting today and meals for her are back to normal. Gave her a little bit of turkey.
Daughter went to work for a four or five hour shift late today. I told her to call in but no one would cover for her. She still looks and sounds sick but thought she was up for it. She came home after getting a beverage and clocking in. Boss said go home.

firewood hunting was good today got a nice big wind fall dry aspen, got about a 1/3 of it out before it got too dark never know what you are getting with wind falls. but I hate to cut live ones, 20 more little ones pop up

took dog for a short hike up the mountain with daughter and granddaughter today, it was very cold and she ended up carrying her most of the way
just got done playing cards ( Spades ) and she had to take baby to bed since she didn't want to sleep by herself .
They are already leaving tomorrow to avoid the traffic on Sunday when most people go back home, plus she has stuff to take care of since they were sick before they came. So far nobody here got sick, but I have been pretty good about cleaning off door handles and getting them drinks and food so they pretty much stayed out of the kitchen
I wished we lived in the olden days were families all lived close to each other LOL ( this coming from myself having moved to another continent away from MY relatives )
Not sure when they will be able to come visit again. She has booked a trip to Colorado for snowboarding for them for Christmas ( husband is supposed to come back sometime early December, but she hasn't heard from him in a while)
I hope the baby doesn't get altitude sickness. They are going from sealevel to over 9000 feet in a day. We didn't take the kids to such high elevations until they were much older

Mostly just sat around the camper and relaxed. Sister and BIL came by to visit on their way home from black Friday shopping. We're just sitting around cousin the net tonight.
