Probably go into our little town at some point and get the mail, buy some of the butter cheese at the deli place, drop off at the thrift store some stuff we cleaned out, and stop in at the amish grocery. Husband was talking about going out for the ride, but we'll see how he feels today. Between the cousins visiting, and the neighbor Marlon coming by later after the milkhouse faucet fix and talking his ear off, he was pretty tired. But enjoyed it. Little granddaughter will be working on cleaning out the other chicken coop.

Went grocery shopping. Put together a shower caddy—there’s no place in the tub her to put shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles in the tub. Got the fixings for a cheesecake. Interestingly dad’s speech therapist have been suggesting different foods for him to try and he suggested cheesecake. Dad is ecstatic about that—claims I make the best cheesecake.

Need to clean off the dining room table—at some point we’re going to move dad’s tabletop train layout from my bedroom to the dinning room so he can play with it.

Got to get the seed starting area set up also.

I’ve lost 2 pounds since Dad came home and I need to keep that up.

We found out what is causing Mom's back pain. She has a compression fracture in her lower back. Sitting in a wheelchair has inflamed it worse. Unfortunately time is about the only healer for it, so she's going to be bedridden a while. While I'm glad and thankful it's not anything worse, it's a reminder that this strong woman who survived and thrived in a situation that would destroy many people, is now old and frail.

Although I'm old, I am certainly not elderly 😂

Just went down to the mailbox. This is the view to the west. Supposed to be another storm coming in tonight.
