The daughter in law made us tacos for lunch while working in the gardens. She made hand made wheat tortillas, and filled them with seasoned chicken livers, crumbled up, ( seriously you couldn’t tell it wasn’t beef), topped with homemade salsa, spinach, avacado and some hot sauce. They have bragged about these to me before but it was my first time trying them. Friggin awesome! Only regret is there were no leftovers. Them eating healthy is beneficial to me lately.

Got the steak and lobster from Outback finally. The steak is a six ounce sirloin and the lobster is tiny, also the salad isn’t included. If you want the filet or larger steak the price doubles from the advertised 15.99. Over all it was good though, and I was full when I left. I usually tend to ignore commercials on TV but that one from outback caught my attention and got me into their place.

We went to Outback last night. I had a filet, and while it was good meat, the crust was pure black pepper. I ended up putting some Heinz 57 on it to smooth out the pepper taste, then it was palatable - well more than just palatable, LOL. My wife had prime rib and it was WAY overcooked and dry. She asked for medium rare and they told her it only came in medium well. Talk about ruining a good piece of meat!

Yeah, it’s just a chain restaurant and the staff on hand can really help or hurt it. Our waitress disappeared and I had to go to the bar to get a glass of water after eating with an empty glass for 15 mins. Sucks for her though. I still left her three bucks but normally would have tipped 10 to 15. One thing I can’t stand is running out of tea during a meal.

Easy night. Sirloin on the grill, salad with everything in it and one of my favorites, homemade potato chips. For the chips I slice a large potato on a slicer, spray the foil lined pan with olive oil, spray the chips and sprinkle with pepper, onion and garlic powder. (Salt is really good but not on my list anymore). Bake in the oven on 425 for about 10 mins, flipping at least once, until crispy. Yum

Finish your salad.
