Might as well chew on shoe leather! Lol. I can’t do the cold pink, but warm pink and juicy is awesome. Overcooking just dries it out.I like my meat well done, cant stand bloody meat.
Yeah, it’s just a chain restaurant and the staff on hand can really help or hurt it. Our waitress disappeared and I had to go to the bar to get a glass of water after eating with an empty glass for 15 mins. Sucks for her though. I still left her three bucks but normally would have tipped 10 to 15. One thing I can’t stand is running out of tea during a meal.We went to Outback last night. I had a filet, and while it was good meat, the crust was pure black pepper. I ended up putting some Heinz 57 on it to smooth out the pepper taste, then it was palatable - well more than just palatable, LOL. My wife had prime rib and it was WAY overcooked and dry. She asked for medium rare and they told her it only came in medium well. Talk about ruining a good piece of meat!
Unfortunately most meat, espechially beef, isn’t very healthy. My attitude though is we are all gonna die, guaranteed. So enjoy whatever it is you like, (in my case steak, fried chicken, wine) but just don’t over do it on a daily basis. Life is short, indulge in its enjoyable things!Well done meat is unhealthy.

View attachment 9378 Easy night. Sirloin on the grill, salad with everything in it and one of my favorites, homemade potato chips. For the chips I slice a large potato on a slicer, spray the foil lined pan with olive oil, spray the chips and sprinkle with pepper, onion and garlic powder. (Salt is really good but not on my list anymore). Bake in the oven on 425 for about 10 mins, flipping at least once, until crispy. Yum
Sherbet? Where you live? It’s far too cold for thatLast night was a ham and cheese sandwich with a bowl of sherbet for desert.
I guess I had a craving for sherbet. It might be cold outside but the wood stove keeps the cabin at around 80+ degs.Sherbet? Where you live? It’s far too cold for that
