Yesterday felt like spring, the sun was shining, birds were singing, and the temp was 45 degs. I dug the bbq out from under 4 feet of snow and grilled some chicken. Normally I grill year round, but this winter I couldn't find the BBQ until yesterday.

炒米粉 (chao mifun) - stir fried rice noodles with spinach, mushrooms, onions and ground pork. And some Louisiana Hot Sauce to give it a little Southern kick.

Spaghetti with Parmesan sprinkled on it, salad with Greek dressing and a slab of garlic bread with mozzarella melted over it. Washed down with a glass of homemade Concorde grape wine. I went to bed content

I wish I liked fish! I keep hearing how healthy it is, but unless it’s fried I really just don’t like it. So I went with my old standby tonight. Sirloin grilled, sliced and roasted potatoes and a good salad.

Bigpaul, do you make your own baked beans, or do you buy Heinz Beanz? Those aren't available here locally. I'm not real crazy about the syrupy sweet American style baked beans, and besides, they bother my stomach.

I've got a couple chicken breasts in the fridge marinading in a spicy dry rub. They're going in the smoker later today over an apple wood fire.

My wife wasn’t nauseous for a change and was craving pizza from a small local place here. I got two pizzas and two subs. Not very healthy but pretty good anyways.

I had quinoa tabouleh and hummus with blue corn chips tonight. We actually have some pita chips but used the blue corn chips instead.

Irish bangers and mash with some Kilkenny Irish Ale at the Celtic House in Arlington VA.

Don't know what the difference is between English and Irish bangers and mash, maybe bigpaul could enlighten us

Cooked some spaghetti and tomato gravy, made meatballs and grilled Italian sausage. Made French garlic bread. For dessert, fresh local strawberries with cool whip.

Tonight was a salad out of a bag and left over tacos reheated on the wood stove.
