Not even fried chicken livers? The things are awesome! Of course everything fried is good....., oh what the heck, who cares about a little cholesterol!

Nope...no motors....

Do sheep just eat the blades of grass and then move on? Since horses pull the grass out by the roots they will strip all vegetation from a small area pretty quickly. I have about half an acre of grass area that I could raise some kind of animal here. I'm afraid it's not enough for a cow, but a sheep is an interesting thought.

Yeah, sheep are easier on a pasture than horses. My horses strip mine bare. That's why we have multiples and rotate. In the "winter", we get big round hay bales so they can graze. My wife wants goats too...but really just don't want any more mouths to feed. It's getting a bit ridiculous.

I am a stickler for food scraps going to the dogs, chickens and rabbits now though...so I guess it wouldn't be too bad with goats.

Yep. I've had more than one relative whose body outlived their mind. I'd rather not....
No joke, I'm allready forgetful enough. I've seen people with Alzheimer's, and believe me, if I start going down that road I would find a way to take a long nap!

Mother in law had it. Finally forgot to breathe... it was hell on my wife and sister in law, but mainly my wife as her mom was here.

Sucked big time. Sounds harsh, but everyone was relieved when she died. Very intelligent and well educated, but it was all swallowed by the disease.

It is hard on the family, nothing harsh about it. Sometimes they can get mean, prone to wandering, men can become very aggressive sexually, etc. the person you used to know is allready gone though. I'm not afraid to go, but don't ever want to be a burden on my family. My wife is ill and in bed most of the time now, she flat out couldn't handle it. I think it's just part of aging. We live longer than ever in our history, and face it, we aren't designed to last forever. I'm sure there are things in our environment that contribute to it, but some of it is just our brain wearing out.

ham joint, new potatoes and cauliflower, followed by raspberries and ice cream.

I've been eating like a pig! I'm not sure I should even look at this thread for a while... I hit 170lbs recently and should be around 145ish. We have been really busy and on the road working odd hours etc. it's hard to eat healthy when your traveling a lot. Even though we make it home every night, fast food is just too convient. Last night I got in about three am and have been a zombie most of the day today. Even so I made a breakfast of smoked sausage, fried potatoes, egg and pancakes (bisquik). Then after getting supplies for the job today I stopped and got barbeque from a local place, ribs, pork, all the sides. After a big lunch of it I'm about to make another plate for dinner. Guess I'll worry about loosing that 25lbs later!

tonight is home made meatloaf night..thinking of having mashed tater and green beans with it..
All are on my list of favorites. Got to have good gravy to smother it all in too!
