Putin is the " President " of Russia . As you can see His Military is not as strong as He would have the World to think it is . But Yes he has nuclear capability . Unlike other nuclear capable countries he has mutiple means to deliver them . So yes Russia is a threat . But Russia , China or any Nation in the know does not want to tangle with the USA . That doesn't mean it won't happen but they know it will be the end of their world as they know it .

If you listen to media hype and the social media world you would think the U.S Military is weak and other countries are waiting to pounce on US . But if you study what actually happens in the real world . Even China knows we would smoke their ass if they tried a attack on the U.S.A . A few weeks on the battle field with the U.S Military and their troops would be surrendering to Our aircraft like Sadams troops did .
Yes We have a compromised administration in the White at this time . But that is going to change as well .
The woke Military the media keeps talking about is not the Men and Women wearing the uniform or the commanders in the field . That is just more garbage from the leftist to present a image that shakes the people who don't know better . Also it gives the libs something to brag about .
Other countries that would want the U.S out of the way know better .

We're pretty well prepped for most anything that may realisticly happen. We have storage capacity for 300 gallons of non-ethonal gasoline, 400 gallons of diesel and 1100 gallons of propane. I'll fill the propane tanks probably around September when it's usually cheaper. Then fill the diesel about the first of October when I can get the winter mix of 50% off-road diesel and 50% stove oil. I need to replace my old chainsaw with a new one soon and start cutting firewood. I keep a 2-3 year supply of oil, filters and miscellaneous maintenance parts for all of our vehicles and equipment.

I thought we might could share our last preparation lists . --Mine fuel , chain oil and such for the chainsaw . Though I have some two man cross cut saws , plan to use my chainsaw as long as possible for firewood for heating and cooking . -- I have lots of food stored but it would be nice to have popcorn , the type that you can pop in a skillet over a fire . -- I have stored but thought I would mention fire-starting ability such as matches or even more primitive fire starting capabilities . I like to cheat and use charcoal lighter fluid to build fires in my wood heater . Water to tide us over while the radiation is too strong to venture outside . Perhaps others would like to jar our prepper minds to other things we might need .

Going really low tech....good axe, spare handles, sharpening stones and oil.

I still think that Putin would be far more likely to employ a cold nuke in the form of an EMP over say, Ukraine/Poland (he could claim it was an overbleed oops) than a hot nuke. Part of it is this....we know the nukes go boom and the technology has been used. We know that the HEMP exists but, no one has ever used one in war. How effective would they really be? I am sure China would be quite curious as well. He has a toy in his arsenal that is untested in real life....who knows? According to the Russian doctrine a HEMP is not a nuke per se. At this point be ready for anything.

Who is actually going to trigger? IF it does happen with this Russia/Ukraine war. I blame a lot on NATO and even the Biden Administration. I am sure the higher ups in the UK can be added. This is who Newsweek tried to say would happen under a Trump presidency. . . A President who was actually respected from other World Leaders which is why we never actually had a war under Trump's leadership. I honestly feel like the possibility has never been higher under a Biden presidancy.

Putin is no saint, but he will tell you straight up what his goals are (as opposed to the insidious goals of Xi and the CCP). You might not LIKE his goals, but he is what he is.
Xi on the other hand has goals that he will never say out loud to the West. He says things people LIKE but does something entirely different from what he says.

In preparation for the war , yesterday we cleaned out all the dog food in the size cans we sought yesterday at a grocery food chain , as soon as the shipment came in . Today I cleaned out all the dog food in cans at a dollar store . Frankly they didn't have much to begin with at either store . I talked to the clerk at the dollar store , they can't get in what they really need . They are just getting unwanted shelf stuffing items . Also the clerk said they are getting a lot of reports from customers preparing for the war . So I am not the only one cleaning out prepper sought items in my area . However I reside in a very high prepper populated community . - The cleaning out the shelves is " underway ", at least in some areas . --- Actually I am not that fond of my dog , but one bad a-- guard dog she is . I want her functioning to help deal with the desperate looters that will be wandering around in the aftermath .

I have my material to run out and cover my garden when the nukes begin to rain down , but the garden is posed to go into production of food . So the choice is run out to the garden and start pulling up and throwing out okra , tomatoes and other food bearers in order to roll out the soil protector material and lose the years produce or leave the garden alone and gamble the radioactive cloud will pass harmlessly by overhead . No doubt other gardeners on here will have to make the same tough choice if this war gets started within the next few weeks . At the moment I am leaning toward leaving the garden alone and gamble the cloud will not settle here .

We are at the end of our 2nd growing season (too hot and dry) so I already have most of the seeds for next year gathered, assuming there is one of course. You could just get tarps folded in place and ready to cover in minutes if the need arises.

@nd and last day for the NATO meeting . Today I was told is mostly the Ukraine's delegation turn to present their war plan and convince the NATO countries to go ahead and step up and declare Ukraine a member . On day one it appeared the NATO alliance is withdrawing from their touted " big surprise " . --- Yesterday I finished gathering firewood to keep my home warm for the upcoming winter , chicken feed stocked which should last for months , my 4 legged looter defense system has months of food . All of my last moment preparation list has been completed.

Many people long for a depopulated planet , but have pity for those that didn't have the ability to foresee this coming thus failed to prepare . Many that by accident survives will find their pampered lives have changed forever and simply will not be able to cope with no air conditioner , electric or propane stove , no grocery store , no running water , no refrigerator , no fuel for an automobile , no phone , no doctor , no hospital . --- At this point either someone has the resources they need or they don't . When things go sideways expecting the guy down the road to give up his or her resources in some kind of trade , I find as hoping instead of prepping . -- I have occasionally pi--ed people off in my attempts to get them to take prepping to the apocalyptic level . Now we are at the brink and as each day passes we should be thankful we had another day before the apocalypse begins . --- None of us know whether we are going to enter World War 3 or not , but at this point we see " no exit ramp " .
