Everyone keeps telling me I'm voting for socialist if I don't vote well I don't agree .I got into an argument with my best friend of almost 60 years about this.
I remined her that she was nowhere to be found when a few thousand of us was in the steets trying to save our nation from invasions that has been going on since the late 1050s. But then they got braver and millions was in our streets all over America adding insult to injury making demands we surrender even more to them. All we get every other 8 years is more promises and things just keep getting worse.And now IMO nothing can save us. Millions of Americans should have been clening the invaders off our streets but all they did was " vote". I was in the street along with a few 1000 others getting attacked by some my fellow Americans who liked cheap labor well hope your children and their children enjoy working for their children because that is whats coming.

Mathematically speaking when one doesn't vote they are reducing the vote count and as a result increasing the weight of those that do vote. "I trust y'all, I will go with whatever you decide"

I understand this but in past fewdecades voting fro the lessor of two evils has not helped our nation. Thats no an opinion either,its a fact.
But I'm hoping and even praying this time my vote will help America. Last vote for a president [ other than a couple write in;s who had no chance but I wanted to vote}was for Bush Hr. and I had to hold my nose for that and regretted it soon after.
I votedfro a man that I think was involved in 911 conspiracy like his grandaddy was i nWW11 .

I am really ticked that we have two choices right now. I'm not thrilled with Trump, and I despise Biden. Is it that hard to find a few good men to run for this office? So there's two guys that I don't even like and I have to pick the one I can stand the most?

Checked into an expensive hotel on the river front.
Mandatory masks everywhere in Savannah. Very few places with A/C made wearing mask more uncomfortable.
Valet parking ONLY for hotel......$37 per day.
Room $208.
Alarm clock in room did not work.
Supposed to call front desk to have valet bring up car. Front desk never answered phone with my 15 minutes of calling. Confronted front desk employee about that and she got rude.
Lobby on 4th floor. We never realized that. Lobby floor not marked on elevator floor selection. After trying three floors we found a maid to ask where the lobby was.
I suggested to front desk employee they mark the lobby floor in elevator. She gave me a smart ass remark. That doesn't go well with me.......I suggested she tell the manager and that it might "make her look smart", but that is an impossibility.
Very confusing layout of hotel. Difficult to find the way to the back door to the riverfront.
I wanted prime rib for supper but ended up with fried fish and fried shrimp. Very disappointed.
Got what I wanted for breakfast.......much too salty. Not good.
Needless to say I am glad to be home.

Shopping for clothing: I hate it. I was always the tall, very thin girl, who by the time I found pant legs and sleeves long enough, the garment wrapped around me twice. This is one of the reasons I sewed my own clothing for so many years.

Winter is here, and I really need a new hat and gloves. Gloves, no problem. Hat, %*!/#! I have had this problem my whole life. I have a large head. When I put on a small hat, I get an almost immediate headache. I went hat shopping today at the REI Flagship store, because I know they probably have some of the best warm weather gear that is made. I found one hat that fit, $36. Okay, I'd invest that in a hat, if it was a color that went with any of my winter coats or jackets. Nope! Not even close to matching or going with any of my coats or jackets. A clerk asked if he could help. I explained the problem, and it seems he has the same problem. He suggested a hat maker whose hats they carry and to look in the women's section. I went. Another great clerk there. No women's hats by that maker there. She suggested I look in the men's section. Part of my partial solution to not being able to find clothing that fits was to wear men's clothing, not happily. Grrr! Not a lesbian and not trying to attract any, but it has happened to me! Off I went to the men's section and it was suggested that I wear a brimmed hat that was warmer than a typical brimmed hat, like my Columbia hat that I wear about 3/4 of the year. Okay, but my ears are still bare. I looked at the hats, tried on a L and an XL. Not attractive at all and really didn't solve the problem. Still have bare ears.

When it comes to something that 99% of the time doesn't fit, I can't order it online, or I would likely be shipping it right back. I have decided that I will try a different store every day after my last dog visit until I find something that will not only work, but maybe look decent. I have hats at home that are very worn. The ugly hat that I wore this morning is 34 years old and it has never matched or complimented anything.

Political discussions are usually a no win. You can disagree, scream and yell at each other, but when all is said and done, it makes no difference about anything. It ruins relationships. It causes high blood pressure. It changes nothing. This is why I don't participate in them with anyone, ever.

Weedy sorry to hear your problems finding a good fitting hat. I too have a big (wife says HUGE) head. I try on hats everystore I go in that have them. Rarely find anything that fits. I did find a bomber hat in a truck stop once on a trip up north. Shirts are another issue, sleeves and tails are always too short. Very few stores carry Big and Tall. Wife has the opposite problems, she's 4-11 and has tiny feet. Normally she can wear kids shoes.
Seems like clothes makers think everyone is the same size. NOPE

I wanted an extra of the special plugs for the 220 volt outlet on my generator so I could use my welder anywhere.
Ordered the plug from ebay that was to be shipped from California.
Came today, three weeks after I ordered it. It was the correct item but it had been shipped from China.
I was in no rush for the plug but the blatant lie in their ad made me upset. I left accurate negative feedback.

So true and we have been friends since 10 yr olds. Usually we just don't talk for a few days but today I called and told her I voted,she screamed WHAT!. Then she yelled at her hubby and said 'she voted today' lol he said your kidding.She was very happy. My daughters reaction same thing.
We have shared so much for over half a century so we don't stay mad,hope to goodness we never do.

One time, I saw that something that was marked, "One size fits most." That should be what everything is labeled, instead of, "One size fits all."
I think that 99% of all hats are too small for me. Literally, today they had 100's of hats, and two fit me.
I have narrow feet, AA, AAAA heels which I can NEVER find. I can get AA, but the heels, nope.
I too have long arms and it is rare that sleeves are long enough. What has helped me was putting on weight.
Because I have such difficulty finding clothing that fits well, I wear clothes until they are worn out. T-shirts wear out at the band around the neck. A couple years ago, I was really in need of new summer clothes. I just had to work on it, in spite of all my frustration.
When I graduated with my A.A., before I got my BA, I wanted and needed a new dress for graduation. I went downtown and spent the afternoon shopping. I finally quit, and went back to school in tears.

I could be that person, to make it, but I am not in that mood currently. Just a little too busy to focus on that now. I am not in the sewing mood. I am going to go to malls, Walmart, Target, other places and keep looking until I find what I need. There are places to go. I just am not someone who gets any pleasure from it and rather, I hate it. I have to work to be nice to clerks. They do not need me to be nasty to them. When I grocery shop, I have a list, I go in, grab what I need and get out ASAP.

I'm with you. I couldn't stand the choices last time, and I am in a similar boat this time. I remember a couple decades ago thinking there were so many options for president, how could it be narrowed down? And now, I don't know anyone that has any appeal.

No, not at all. I don't think of you as a sexist at all. I don't know enough about her, didn't investigate, but I know a few people that did vote for her. I didn't vote for her. I have voted for underdogs before, they don't win. It's like there are two political parties only. Another thing to rant about.

hope and pray Trump can get us more time, but it was more a vote against someone than for someone this go round. So I did my best. I didn't think anyone could be more evil than Hillery but this Harris creature is sure looking like she may be in a close tie.So it was a vote fro Harris or a vote fro Trump and and I think Trump is the better choice by a long shot,hope so.anyway.
