The way my work schedule rotates I will miss the next 2 episodes but mabey they will show a marathone before the last one .

Notice Maggie is now carrying a M44 Mosin Nagant . One of the marauders in season 4 had one too . I have one that I bought in 2000 for $75 they go for abought $250 now . Mine was made in Russia in 1944 .

They always show the prior 2 episodes before the new episode each Sunday so you shouldn't miss anything if you're willing to sit and watch for 3 straight hours.

Season 5 all day today on AMC . Im watching atleast the last 3 to get caught up . Turned my cell phone off incase work calls .

I must be one of the only ones not upset with the recent death in the show. That character had long outlived their usefulness to the story, and that mini story arc is one I'm happy to see gone.

I agree, she's been gone for so long that it wasn't much of an impact for me either. The one thing I'm really pissed at is this is the end for two months! WTHeck!!!! What was it, 5 shows? Why do these people get paid so much to be on break 3/4 of the year???

I knew as soon as Beth picked took the scissors from under the bed ,That she was going to take out Dawn.Than of course Dawn put one in Beths hat.

This will probly change Maggies character Her whole family is gone now . From the Preview looks like Noah is the only one that left with them . Febuary is not that long from now .

Yeah I can't see why they did just 5 shows, seems wrong to me. But they killed off Beth and it looks like znation is killing off most of the good folks on their show as well makes me wonder why they keep killing folks off on all of these shows. And it is always the good ones that they kill off.

They discussed that on "The Talking Dead" show afterwards. Yes, they have to kill people off to keep it realistic and they HATE doing it. They mentioned how much easier it is to kill people off in the comics, because all they have to do is just stop drawing a character. But with the show they have actors that have been with them for years in some cases and are like family.

And they hinted that the good, they die young...

Maybe, but not without another leader to take his place. Daryl may be up to it, but not Abraham.

No not Abraham, he would never be able to be a good leader. And will they ever catch up I wonder with the black guy. He is heading to DC now and they are going?????

ok, I just finished season 4, I like the show! lots of twist and turns. Also finished Jericho though the thing that puzzled me about Jericho was the stolen warheads was trucked in and placed in location by hand detonated from the ground, who had the EMP 'missile'?

Starting season 5 tonight, I kindly stayed away from this thread till I get caught up :)

These first 2 on season 5 are just setting up for some new plots , it will take off soon .

Kind of spoilers....so just know this going in.....

Finally, it's nice to see them do something smart...the whole bridge bit with the zombies. They are relying less on guns, and more on other ways to dispatch the walkers.

Of course, they continue though, making stupid choices....

1) They are heading to DC, one of the most populated cities there is, great place during a zombie apocalypse, right?

2) If I were them, after all they've been through (with their particular encounters), and strangers who actually SEEK them out for an audience...I'd just shoot such individuals on sight. You just KNOW he's going to end up screwing them over somehow....

3) Why they don't drive diesel cars/trucks and just refuel using the oil in all the power transformers along the highway's light poles.

Just head back to the prison, refortify and clean it out, and be happy. Bring over some of the goodies from Woodbury, like the solar stuff, etc. Raise crops, livestock, no worries. (and build a further out fence, where they don't have to SEE the walkers each day)...

I would have cleared off to an island by now if I had been part of Ricks team, pushing zombies of bridges is much quieter than shooting them, the more noise you make the more you attract. Is their no navigable rivers or canals in Georgia or tween Georgia and DC? getting off the road would be a major priority for me. Perhaps heading out to the Keys in FLA and dropping the over the water road behind them would give more security.

I bet swamp zombies in the Keys would be some nasty nasty dudes..... An island certainly has its merits...just need to find one with enough good agricultural land area.

In Day By Day Armageddon they have the gumption to hole up in bunkers, tower blocks, and especially in boats so they can rest overnight in safety.

Resting in an anchored boat (assuming calm weather) does sound like a pretty sound anti-zombie tactic.

I think they are with a good group now but are going to be drawn into a fight aginst a bad group , probably aginst the group that destroyed Noah's group .
And yes they should have left that one scene out .
