Very light rain is starting! Looks like a rainy week ahead, maybe enough to get out of what is being called an "exceptional" drought in my area! Upper 70's-80's all week!

last week it hit 80, now tuesday night it is supposed to be 12F. gotts love rocky mountain weather.
It was in the hi 90's on Saturday. Yesterday was about 80, but in the afternoon we could feel a cold front coming in. Today, we woke up to rain.

Mid 50's here's. Supposed to get down to the teens and have snow by the end of the week.
Hope we really get rain!! Ya never know here!!
Just west of Lake Superior.... Sunday night... A light rain for several hours.. I would be surprised if it was over quarter of an inch.. Scattered clouds with black bottoms all day.. Temps high 30s overnight and just 60 deg today.. for Halloween...

That’s a little warmer
High is 32 F low is 23 F. Still no rain or snow. Not good.
Wow, it has been raining all afternoon!! Definitely a drought help! About two inches last night and today!

The temp has been dropping all day. The wind is picking up and looks like snow. They have a winter storm warning posted for our area for tonight and tomorrow.

The extreme rain event is just starting. Fed all the critters early. Buddy is hunkered down in his shed, the outside cats have full bellies and are in their favorite places. Told Bear it will be a long time before he can get out to take care of business, he shouldn't have to for quite a while! The National Weather Service is calling for 4-10 inches of rain!!😮 Might not have a road by the morning!! Glad I am home!!

Updates as the event unfolds! A friend south of Abilene got 7 1/2" so far, still raining there!!
Looks like it's all going to move east a lot faster than they think! PeePaw can get some rain in east Texas!! Bet we only get 2-3"! More coming on the weekend so that's enough right now!!

Thars snow on them thar hills - mountains have snow this morning.
