We are heading back in our normal seasonal temperatures, 74deg for the high and the low 46deg for tonight, mid 70s all next week with more clouds than sun and it looks like rain starting next Saturday and I'm ready for the rain.
We put some things off this year because of the heat and fire threat maybe next year, also, this year were not good for the garden, fishing wasn't good either

It was reasonably cool this evening. I went out in the yard at about 8 p.m. and was able to pull some weeds and over grown grass from the flower beds. I pulled the last few by flash light

This has been a long hot dry summer. We had 6 days with 90+ degrees and only 1/10" of rain since first part of June.
A couple days ago I drove up to the part of the property that burned. I wasn't quite prepared for what I saw. Absolutely everything was burned right down to the dirt. Even the trees along the creek were burned 100%. A lot of good timber was lost. The grass will come back next spring but it'll be many years before any trees start to grow. Originally I was planning on building on this property. I'm glad I changed my mind.

Our long hot summer is over with rain tomorrow night, saturday and M thru F next week. Starting saturday our highs are going to be upper 50s to low 60s with the morning lows in to the mid to upper 40s... Thank God

It's wet. It's getting wetter.and power been off since 3:40am. thank goodness for stove top percolators and gas stoves.

Still dry and dusty here. Zero rain expected for the month of September. At least it's cooled down to the 50' - 60's for high temps and 40's for low.
We’ve been hovering around 59~62 for the highs for the week, been raining off and on all week, lows been in the upper 40s~53 overall it’s been very comfortable, not quite jacket weather but getting close to a heavy shirt.
Starting into the fall temps. Only 106 f today.
Yesterday was upper 80’s. Not fall yet, but getting better. The heat really is kicking my butt.

We had our fall-like weather back in July.
This is the hottest it's been all summer (mid to upper 90s daily). In about a week it's supposed to start cooling off though.

Humid and hot! I took the grandkids out yesterday to a nature park. They both had a blast. I was soaked in sweat. I am still feeling it today. They both went to sleep early and slept well
I’m really feeling the heat more now. I guess age must have something to do with it, since global warming isn’t real.
That’s what I was thinking... I think that sucks worse than global warming

Woke up this morning to 38deg, high for today should be about 65. This be the first day we have no rain forecasted in 8 days, yep summer is over
Just realized fall is in 4 more days, two weeks or so from Saturday we should be entering the frost period.

Getting cool at night and day time highs are 60-65 degs. Going to have to start using the wood stove soon. Still zero rain forecast until at least the first week of October.

Rain? What's that? We've only had 1/10" rain in 4 months. Maybe we'll get some in October.
I'd happily send you some of ours, if it were possible.
Headed back into the 90's, YAY.
We in the upper 40s, it's rained about 1.5" since 6 this morning and the heavy rains ain't due till 8 tonight

It's started, heading down the mountain yesterday..
It went North and East of Us . The KY , TN line then over to NC . We have had 2 solid days of cold rain .
Really beautiful. We just have had rain here.
