Whoops. So I had to go pay a bill I forgot and decided I was hungry, and since I'm in Dalton anyway and near a really GOOD BBQ joint, I roll in and see:
"Try Willie's Cuban style cheesesteak Small, 7.50, Large 14.95" So I'm thinking at best it'll be like a subway 6" , I'd better get a large and a jumbo coke. (that's a 36 Oz gut-buster for all you poor slobs in NYC!) and I'm waiting a few minutes, I'm the only one there, and the babe at the window hands me A FREAKING PAPER SHOPPING BAG, A BIG ONE! And I'm like..."Are you sure this is mine?" She batted her big blue eyes:
Yeah hon, cheesesteak, fries drink. enjoy! I mean it must weigh 5-6 pounds! So when I get home, there it is! a whole loaf crammed with pastrami, the peppers and onions and enough Swiss to make a sandwich by itself! and the fries...OMG! not only were they perfect, there was like a half a gallon of them! Willie, you just got yourself a lifetime customer! I thought the catfish plates and the BBQ blitz were flukes, but three people are eating this beast tonight! So if you're ever down in Dalton, look him up! I don't know how he does it, but he does it well and in quantity!

Hawaiian style brats, sprouts and greens with pineapple and sweet bread.
Put a couple of brats on the George Foreman, slice open, put a layer of cyan pepper and pineapple on top,
grill 30 minutes.

Next time I'm grilling them on tinfoil, what a mess!

Fritos. they quit using Monsanto's Franken corn. I'm celebrating.
Vetoing with your wallet is the only real vote we have left now Coke Cola took one in the coin sack for telling us we were "too white"
to the tune of a 25% drop in business. It took Frito lay a few years because not everyone knew what Franken corn was!

Meatloaf and au gratin potatoes.

I typically make meatloaf with 5-4 lbs of beef and 1 lb of sausage (and breadcrumbs and eggs, etc.) - then divvy it up into 1lb loaves to freeze. Tonight I added ground chicken to the mix because I got it on discount for 2.99/lb. I'm not a big fan of ground chicken, but at that price I figured it would serve as a good stretcher. We'll see if my guys notice anything different. 😁

Got busy cleaning the house after I came in from evening chores and forgot to eat again. Fixed a quick snack before showering and getting to bed. Had some Dubliner cheese, peppered turkey, carrot sticks, and sweet peppers with ranch dip.
