Pancakes and sausage this morning. Everything is coated in ice including including the roads. I guess I’ll tend the fire.

Last night we just had chicken salad sandwiches and grapefruit segments. I’m hoping my oven gets repaired today.

Golden rice with veg and breaded chicken, and made meatballs in bolognese sauce ready to be switched on in the slow cooker before I go to work tomorrow.

For breakfast the wife made potato pancakes, with eggs, bacon and sausage.

A favorite tonight... hotdogs wrapped in thick slice bacon and deep fried. Onions, hotdog relish and ketchup, a meal fit for a king.

We live in the country and the roads were icy yesterday so the appliance repair people didn’t come. It’s been rescheduled until Friday. Another week of trying to make meals with no oven or stove top.

I have an electric skillet, they run about $15-20. That and my crockpot were life savers when I was in a similar situation!! I also have a countertop oven! I'm not an air fryer person, but those would be handy for you too! Good luck!!

I have an air fryer, crockpot and Instant pot. But I’d like to make pancakes, bacon in the oven, fried eggs. Maybe I’ll look into an electric skillet from WalMart today. I have my 3 month check up post total knee replacement surgery today so we have to go out today, anyway.

Alex took me out to celebrate, she closed a couple of nice homes in the lat week. I had the 18 ounce ribeye. When I was younger I could have finished two of them and now I can’t even finish one. Jake had guitar lesson tonight so we were by ourselves, we had a date. It’s a rare for us and was a nice time.
