Got you a chauffer?
Bet that thing handles the snow really well
It gets around good, needs a little bit of work this is the first time it had been started in probably 3 years. I figure I can have it lined out in a day or so.

I woke with an idea how to route the under cabinet lighting wires without being seen. After installing 3 of the pucks I am happy with it.

I opted to secure them with screws because double sided tape has failed me too many times. I used doubled up duct tape to hold the pucks in place while drilling and installing the wee little screws to keep the pucks aligned with the holes. Worked a treat.
Now if someone crawls up on the counter the wires can be seen but i can live with that.

I will order some wire management channels to clean up the wire routing in the cabinets.

I am now settling in with no need to leave home for three days and a snow event coming in tomorrow. I may clone some seedless grapes provided I can find some dirt. That would be a nice change of pace.

I saw an Amish bus this week, and it was pretty neat. It was a hay wagon, completely covered with the heavier grade black canvas with a ‘door’ in the front corner and two or three wooden steps beneath. I’d guess benches or straw bales inside. In this area, no tractors are used, just draft horses. Looked neat, but made me very grateful for the transportation that I have.Waiting for husband to finish the exercise bike so we can go to breakfast at the amish place. Animals round one are done, kitchen cleaned up and mopped, little granddaughter driven to school earlier. Looks like I'll have another passenger to take to school just 2 days a week, starting next month. The amish kindergarten class starts two days a week next month down the road from Granddaughter's schoool, so I'll be bringing a neighbor girl we know. The amish bus (tractor and horse trailer) doesn't come out this far from the main road, and it would add five miles to the trip, which on tractor time, is alot. Weather is good today, taking a long walk later.
We'll likely be staying in Vaughn or maybe Carrizozo. Later on as we move from south to north we'll probably stay in Santa Rosa. I've worked this rail line three times before. I don't like any of the towns down there. Alamogordo is at least big enough to have a Walmart and some food options. Carrizozo, Vaughn, and Corona are all junk and have diddly squat.Sorry, Spike. Not much to do in Corona. Bet they get alot of jokes. Have a beer.
Good to hear I accidentally got something right.I did the same in our kitchen, but everything I build for others I use led strip lighting.
Get well, let us know how the doctor visit goes!!Backpacker, I'm glad you were able to help your neighbor.
I started feeling worse last night and took some cough medicine, but it didn't really seem to help too much. Nose stuffed up and kept making whistling noises all night. I blew it and even cleared it out with a q-tip for some thicker stuff that wouldn't come out. Had trouble sleeping bc of the whistling and limited breathing. Tossed and turned. Face felt hot (hot flashes probably-- perimenopause sucks) & I was wheezing every time I tried to sit up or roll over. Woke up completely drenched in sweat and generally feeling like garbage. Bronchial tubes are itching. Called the doctor & they said to come in. They will test for Covid & flu (maybe the Covid test will clear my nose better) but my money is on bronchitis. They may tell me to take over-the-counter stuff, but they might prescribe something. We'll see.
