just got back from hubby's doctor' they are scheduling some procedure that i can't pronounce sort of like a heart cath. for next month. finally we hope that at least fixes some of his problems, then we'll work on the besides being an old ----. didn't get sewing machine. but will get it in a couple of weeks when we go for pre-op.

@WVDragonlady send some of that wonderful rain over here to Australia on the east coast over the mountains as it is so incredibly dry here at the moment even after over 10mm last week. Most of the bee keepers are battling to keep their bee hives alive with sugar water as the blossoms on the trees have all died soon after blossoming or the ones that did blossom had no nectar in them.

@timmie I hope they can sort out some of your husbands health issues and we will put him and you in our prayers.

Started off the morning with visiting a close friend in an aged care facility and we had a great time and again I put socks on her feet because they were freezing cold.

After I got home I watered some of the newly sprouted seedlings with our blanching and freezing water from processing our silver beet which watered most with the addition of a few watering cans full of rain water. DH watered half of one side of the driveway with saved grey water from our showers and washing machine and we now have some green sprouts after over 10mm of rain last week. DH then put on a load of washing in the washing machine and hung it on the clothes line to dry and with the cold icy winds they should be dry tomorrow if not frozen on the clothes line :) .

DH just washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen benches and I wiped them and put them away and then swept the kitchen, laundry, bathroom and toilet. I also got another customer order from a regular customer in the States to do some curtain tieback cuffs for her so I set up a custom order listing for her and after payment I will be busy sewing. The extra income will come in handy.

Sweeper run throughout the house-done
pans back in oven-done
short on storage space so most of pots and pans reside in oven.
been ill this morning, upset stomach, wobbly, blurry vision.
but ate something, drank some tea feel better, wish I had time for restful nap, but don't.
got grandaughter this afternoon too after this morning at 0400 hours.
just got to wash dishes and put them away later.

Up at 5, husband breakfast, feed animals, grandkids off to school, me off to work....
Then home early to take husband to dr to pick up rx for more pain meds. Dropped rx off at pharmacy. Takes forever, so had barbeque nearby. Still not ready. Back home, need to feed animals and back to get his rx. Son sliced his thumb pretty well, stopped to bandage him up. Girls are cooking tonight for late mom's day dinner. This house is a mess. AGGH!

She's not diabetic. The doc said its non diabetic Hypoglycemia. No meds. We have her first apt with a endocrinologist Thursday morning. She does have intestinal issues, they work to slow.

The doc thinks it is intestinal related. I have a lists of tests she wants the ER or urgent care clinic to run next times she starts showing symptoms before she gets any food or glucose. If they won't draw the blood then we will have to spend a few days in EP so they can run some more invasive test.

Terri,
Hope it is not serious and she gets better fast. :huggs:

Prayers for your daughter, Terri.
Also, hope you're breathing better.

I'm breathing fine, especially now that I'm home and not in the city. I'm going to go talk the the ER and urgent care clinic tomorrow about those blood tests. No point waiting until she's symptomatic to see if the will do them or not so I will know when the time comes.

Started off the morning with stain removing some clothing and putting on a load of washing, once done I hung it on the clothes line and watered another half of the side of house lawn with saved grey water from our showers and washing machine.

I then cut out the 7 curtain tiebacks, 7 pieces of interfacing and the ribbons for them, ironed on the interfacing and sewed them right sides facing and turned them the right way then the light was getting to dim to work so I will leave the rest of the sewing for tomorrow. While I had out the white fabric I cut out another set of 4 white curtain tieback cuffs, interfacing and ribbon. While I did this DH dug all the nightshade out of the other half of the side garden bed and put it in the bin and dug out the rest of the native lilies and transplanted the native lilies in our newly amended bed on the other side of the house.

Then onto deep cleaned the bathroom and toilet an DH picked some more ripe strawberries from the gardens which we will hull and chop for the freezer until we build up enough to make some jam with it.

DH is making homemade pizza for tonight using some of our garden produce and later we will fold up the 3 loads of washing and put them away.

Need to get ready for work and take care of the animals before I go. Too bad I have to work till 630 tonight. Son and girlfriend took off to Mexico this morning for a wedding on her side of the family. I just got a text that he left a a few butchered rabbits in my fridge he forgot to wrap for the freezer, and left the little Chihuaha dog (Izzy) in our house somewhere.

Gonna take the grand-kids that spent the night home. Then I've got to get ahold of my neighbor to see if he'll take the 1 duckling so I can put the other duckling that just hatched, into my brooder. The 1 that's already in the brooder won't leave the new 1 alone and I only have 1 brooder.

@Terri9630 I really hope and pray they find a solution to your daughters medical condition and can treat it easily.

Thanks. The doc said it may be glycogen storage disease or fatty acid oxidation issue. She wants to know if there are any type 1 diabetics on the family but I don't know. I grew up in foster care.

Had to go to the "big" city today and while there we met the lovely Dr. Prepper. Had a great talk and spent way too much time together. Got home just as the sun was going down and almost hit an elk on the road near our house.

I am so glad I got to spend time with you and Mrs. Hiwall! Was it one of the two stupid elk you almost hit? (Well, probably not if they can't figure out how to get over the fence!!!) :D

Already finished cutting back the roses to about 4 feet high. Have to go to TSC for goat grain and the co-op for alfalfa. Also grocery for chicken breasts. Cooking Millionaire's spaghetti pie and garlic bread for dinner. Maybe making a dessert?
Dessert is always welcome!

I have been preparing food and cooking off and on all day. Freeze and use as wanted.
Veggy lasagna using zucchini in place of meat.Cooked about 20 lb.s of it in 3 large casserole dishes.

I'd like to sit down to 20 pounds of Fried Apple Pies! Thinking of it made my belly rumble! Lol

Dessert is always welcome!

Ran out of time and ambition for dessert. Tomorrow is another day!

Our company showed up with his dog and everyone got along. Pit bull but trained service dog. Then I went and talked to some folks about helping out their mom when needed for a while. Came home and made Millionaire's spaghetti pie and garlic bread. Watched one show on tv and now I'm tired!

Finally got some work done in the sewing room and finished the 7 curtain tieback cuffs for my customer order and made another set of 4 white curtain tieback cuffs for my internet shop. Then I listed the dried lavender we separated, the other bread bag I made last week and the set of 4 white curtain tieback cuffs I made today. In between breaks in sewing I fed lambie next door our leftover bread ends and supplement watered one row of broad beans in the gardens.

DH in the meantime while I was sewing swept the house, picked strawberries from the front gardens and diced and put them in the freezer, turned on the garden drip irrigation system to water the gardens and supplement watered the newly planted capsicum seeds with dish rinsing water.

Tonight's dinner was the other half of our homemade pizza.

@gumpy as you have been my prayer warrior the roles now will be reversed for you and you will be in our prayers until things settle for you, big friend :huggs:to you.

I count it a privilege to be in prayer. I believe in the power of prayer and appreciate any offered up in my situation.
Thank you @Sewingcreations15

My day off of babysitting grand daughter.
So have done two loads of laundry, washed, dried, put away.
Have to debone roasted chicken I oven roasted earlier this week.
Then will prepare chicken salad, chicken and noodles.
Haven't decided if it will just be chicken and noodles.
Or chicken noodle soup with fresh carrots, celery, diced onions, fresh herbs out of garden.
Decisions, decisions, which ever will be good.
Ate the last of the Italian meatballs this morning on angel hair pasta.
Not bad for breakfast at 5 am.
Weather must be going to change, my knees ache terribly.
Strongly thinking about a nap for this afternoon.
Strawberry doesn't know what to do with herself.
I'm home for more than 4 hours at a time.
So she has had coffee spilled on her, kitchen towel flicked at her nose.
She was standing on her hind legs to see what I was doing when I was setting medicine for the week.
She's also handy about standing on them hind legs trying to sneak a bite of what I'm eating.
Bread, rolls, bacon etc.
