@Tank-Girl :woo hoo:on the car starting and the LPG business people and people like them certainly restore your faith in human nature :) .

One also to be thankful for here is that we went clothes shopping and DH left our brand new just picked up from the Telstra shop NBN wireless modem under a clothing rack in BigW and thank you Heavenly father and Jesus a member of the staff picked it up and took it to the Telstra shop for us as they weren't sure we were still in the store or not. If that had not happened we would have surely had to pay a couple of hundred dollars if not more for a replacement one.

God works in mysterious and marvelous ways to bless us every day @Tank-Girl usually when we least expect it.

@Tank-Girl Thrilled about the delivery service on your propane. If your vehicle is a stick shift (manual Transmission) check and see if there is a small relay attached to the clutch pedal arm. One of my vehicles developed the start - no start problem. The relay did not always make contact to allow a the ignition to work (designed to not allow a vehicle to be started while in gear). I just wired the leads together (bypassed relay) and problem was solved forever. Just a possible solution, along with divine intervention.

Thank you everyone for the glory and praise for our Lord and Savior.

What I discovered is that the engine bay fire wall has a moulded trough/ gutter situated directly under the bottom edge of the windshield.
Hyundai designers unfortunately left several indents in this trough that don't have drains so water pools in them and what I discovered
was that on my vehicle it had rusted through.
It's equally unfortunate that where it rusted through was directly over the modules for the crank sensor, injectors and the starter motor.
Water from the windscreen washer, rain, dew was pouring over the modules from that hole.
The things you notice after it starts running again!

I've duct tapped a large patch over the hole and wrapped and zip tied snap lock bags around the modules to make them water tight.

I got to figure out a better fix before the monsoon starts later this year.

I had an AWESOME DAY!!!

Praise the Lord GOD Almighty!

I got a feeling in my Spirit to check a web-site that listed the LPG tank refill costs for various businesses and I saw a business listed I didn't know and their prices were good.
All the other places that do LPG refills I know don't deliver...so....
I rang them to ask if they'd pick up my bottle, refill it and bring it back and how much that service, if available would cost with a mind
to do something about next pension day because atm I'm stone motherless broke!

Well, They picked up my 9 kg bottle, refilled it and brought it back for me!
1- They didn't charge me a cent in pick up or drop off delivery charges.
2- I can pay them for the refill Friday next week when I get my pension!

I can't believe the generosity of these people who own the business!

Then I jumped in the car after another feeling in my Spirit and my car started first go!

With tears streaming down my face I went inside and got on my knees and gave praise to the Almighty
for having his hand on me.

I went out this morning and again the car started first go!

All Praise and Honour belongs to Him.

AMEN!!

That's how God shows up and shows off! I know a lot of people on here have been praying for you.

We started off the morning with going into town to set up for NBN internet as it has finally arrived here in our country town. After doing that we popped into BigW and saw all of their clothing was reduced to ridiculously low prices and stocked up on all our winter clothing for this and coming seasons saving 73.31% on usual prices. Both DH and I are setting up a newish wardrobe of clothing as DH has lost weight and I have bulked up so most of our clothing no longer fitted or were too big. DH unfortunately left our new modem under a clothing rack but fortunately a staff member picked it up and took it to the phone shop where we picked it up, how honest is that as the staff member could have made a couple of hundred dollars from selling it :):). Yes I know there are both honest sales staff and dishonest too. We then did some postage of a homemade bread bag I sold on the internet.

Got home and detagged my clothing and put on a load of washing and just hung it out. Then off to a friend's home to see the new planned extensions to our chapel proposed from head office which as usual ridiculously impractical so we were conversing on tweeking it as they wanted to get rid of most of our toilets and put the baptismal font so far away from it it was unbelievable. We think we have a good configuration worked out to send back to them.

DH has just loaded the washing machine for another load of washing tomorrow of his new clothing he purchased too.

I've been looking for my 3 home canning books.in which I've been looking for the last 2 or 3 weeks. and 2 of my 4 fixed blade knifes.it didn't dawn on me until earlier today.that i hadn't seen the 2 knife's for a while.in which my mom bought me one of them.there's only 1 person that could of taken them.but i go anyone and say it was him.on account of no proof. And that'd make it slander right now.

Was it family?

Doctor's never seem to want to take you off meds once you're on them. Have found that out with my husband. It sounds like your husband is healing well, though, and that's great!
Long day at work and then got my shopping done. Am pooped, but need to make dinner. Our baby chicks we ordered came in this morning, and luckily son was able to get them for me. We have: 5 each of Partiridge Cochins, Silver Duckwing Phoenix, Blue Sumatra, Silver Spangled Spitzhauben (that's a mouthful), and 4 Saipan Jungle Fowl. They are very adorable.

Worked all day on my wife's deck/covered deck. Tired tonight. I got enough done so I could hang her new porch swing. We sat together on that for a half hour and just watched the many hummingbirds fly around us.
More work on the deck tomorrow. Should finish the deck part tomorrow and the following day I'll work on the roof.

Nothing soothes the soul better than building something!

hey gumpy . how are you doing? good i hope. take care of yourself.
I'm doing fine! I'm working part time as a cashier in a Dollar Store. Still looking for a full time job though. I need to get ahead!
Well, that's what I want. Really it's up to God if I succeed or not. I might be just where he wants me and that's fine too.
Thanks for asking @timmie ..

Just got home from the hospital again.
Got infection,blood clot.
Got bunches of antibotics for the infection.
Blood clot has been dissolved with ultrasound waves.

All that doesn't sound so good Mo! It's not making it easier to schedule mine! You're on my Daily Prayer List until you recover. Take it easy for a while.

This morning I started off with visiting teaching with two of our friends and Sisters to see how they were and we had a good time and discussed finances and possibilities with one lady who's family is struggling financially due to her husbands previous injuries.

Got home and had some lunch and while I was away DH put on two loads of washing and hung them on the line and I put another load of washing on and hung it on the line and watered 1/4 of the back lawn with saved grey water from our showers and washing machine.

Then out to the front veranda where we separated the last picked batch of dried thyme that we have a customer order for and emailed the customer to let him know it was ready and did another listing for thyme with the spare not already sold amount. Just about to list his order on eBay and will message him with a link to the order. DH is now cooking dinner and not sure what it is but I am sure it will be nice as usual.

Off to work I go. But don't have to be in till 45 minutes later, so husband gets breakfast made this morning. Air con went out in the large section of our house, so it's hotter than heck. The side with the bedrooms is cool, so I was thankful for that. When it rains, it pours with stuff breaking. Still need to replace the oven. The septic pump was last week. I think things break in threes.

Was it family?

No to family.i live in a housing place.the maintenance person here has a bad reputation with other people living here.he's been known to disrespect others. As well as lie n steal.but no ones been able to prove it one way or another..i'll be going to the police station later to report the theft.i have pics of both knife's. So that'll be a big help.

hubby and i are going to his brother's today and take them some maters and okra. also going to see my mother and a little grocery sale shopping and then back home to work on more maters. while i'm doing maters daughter is going to wash clothes and vacuum seal all that pasta she bought.:D

A/C turns on for a few seconds then goes off. About 5 minutes later the on/off cycle repeats.
Replace the filter. A/C still cycles.
Turn the power off to the furnace and A/C. Wait a few minutes and turn the power back on. A/C still cycles.
Nest thermostat. LED is blinking red for about 5 minutes before turning green for few seconds then back to red. Yep when the LED is green the A/C starts and when it's red the A/C stops. Flaky thermostat is my diagnoses. Off to the Big Box Lumber yard at noon for a cheap replacement thermostat. Replace thermostats when I get home, if my diagnoses is correct contact Nest for replacement/repair.

Nest thermostat lost Wi-Fi capability a few months back. Got to be the thermostat.
New A/C last summer so I doubt it's the A/C

You can just jumper the two A/C wires. All the thermostat is, is a switch. Close the circuit and if the A/C runs then it is the thermostat and you can save yourself the cost of a cheap thermostat.

We use to kick ours off if we had a hill or enough people pushing. The good ol days.
