These are all very unexpected comments to read. I didn't know you were a rabbit and pig owner. I thought you were going to say you just finished up trimming YOUR nails and you got tattoos. On your ears. No, the rabbits. I'm glad you were able to do it without much injury this time.
I love county fairs. Have fun!! How long does it last?

LOL, no tattoos for me! We raise chickens, rabbits, turkeys and goats every year for the fair. This is our first time taking a pig to the fair. Usually we just raise those for the freezer. Our fair isn't very big, only 5 days.

I love fairs, wait, I already said that. Photos, please. I don't care if it is a 3 day fair, fairs are fun!
No, no tattoos here either, ever, no extra piercings. Ya know, one pair of earrings is good. I don't need them on my nose, lips or tongue, between my toes, my bellybutton, ETC., but if that's what somebody is in to, their choice. I see nothing but problems long term on that, for myself anyway.

About Labor Day...I am adjusting to having a sweetheart who doesn't want to go out and around doing much of anything. Not that he used to want to anyway. lol I tend to stay away from shopping unless I really need something.

Is your fair the one for Sierra County? In Truth or Consequences?

Hubby started his vacation today after work. He's planning on putting vinyl siding on the house so my job will be to keep him hydrated and to clean up what he tears off the house.
Glad we're getting this done now before we're too old to do it. And having a hubby thats a builder sure does save us money. He gets a break on the costs of supplies and no labor costs ( although we did on the roof. No way he could do that by himself)
Have to go to the grocery store tomorrow morning ( ugh) . Have to stock up on quick meals so we'll be having burgers, sandwiches and soup, pasta salad and maybe some flat bread pizzas I'll make for us. I use garlic naan bread and that makes them so good lol
Got a cantaloupe to cut up so its nice and cold and ready to eat. Bought some peaches and pears and have them in paper bags to ripen

Getting ready to go home in the morning. Yuck drive. Missing everyone already. Fourteen gallons of honey today, and it was really cool helping with that. Got a lot done on the upstairs of the farm house, visited with mom, and had supper with a bunch of cousins. Drove around the farm with husband in the ranger.

Ah, today I did my online work and then picked up Mom and took her to visit Dad. And I took care of paperwork and visiting with nurses (Dad's in a nursing home). Then we went to visit Mom's two sisters. One lives in town and one is up from Fouke (Big Foot location) Ark. None of the family has seen Big Foot around her home, so all is okay there. Hopefully, I'll get some sewing time this weekend.

Took the kid to the new Cardiologist. He agrees with the diagnosis but not the treatment. He thinks the high salt, high water intake is messing up her electrolyte balance and is what is making her feel worse. He did a test that I can't remember the name of where they put sticky things all over the chest and connected her to a monitor for a bit. He's also going to send her for an EKG because of her heart issues as a baby to make sure there are no defects that weren't caught back then.

So she had electrocardiogram.
Yeah high salt no good!
The other thing is probably echocardiogram. Sonogram of the heart. Not that I would know this.
;)
There you go, I just couldn't remember the name of it. The usual treatment for POTS is high salt and water to increase blood volume and pressure but some Cardiologist don't like it because of the possible long term effects.

I'm going to get online and find an electrolyte mix she can mix with her water and see how that works.

Been a bit busy here and on Thursday we finished the shed off and got everything boxed and labelled. Friday we weeded 2 garden beds out the front and planted some more money maker tomatoes and weeded 2 x 9 mt garden beds and removed old plants. Did 2 loads of washing and I deep cleaned the bathroom and toilet for the week and DH vacuumed, we washed and dried dishes and DH vacuumed for the week and we went to a friends home for dinner where we took our homemade chocolate pudding.

Yesterday we went to the local tip and took all the things that were broken and had it and had a look at the local tip shop. It is huge and run by a local community group who gives young people with disabilities a job. Found some 50 ml amber bottles for a haggled down price of .20c ea which will be suitable for decanting our vanilla extract into and just have to find some lids online for them. Then in the afternoon we planted white onions, carrots, red and golden California gold capsicum seeds and cucumber in pots to grow as we are still having cold weather and frosts here. Hopefully that will give them a head start so we can plant them in the gardens as soon as it is warm.

Can anyone tell me when finding lids for bottles that measuring the top opening or lid dimensions is the size of the cap ?. It appears that way as these have a 24 mm opening across the neck ,but I am not sure so would appreciate some advice from people who can or bottle.

Thanks in advance everyone :) .

He sounds as if he may be what you've been needing. I sure hope he finds something easy to make better.

Today was the wife and I's 34th anniversary. same day of the week no less. We took a little road trip, stopped by the knife works for a few supplies and then hiot up a good seafood place (which locally isn't easy to find) and had a wonderful supper. Back at it tomorrow, but gotta take a down day here and there along the way.

Frustration is building up with PT.
Don't feel like I'm improving much.
Kinda stuck. Didn't get injured in a few days,
So don't know why, I think I should be better than I am.
Don't bend knee more than 50%, no weight training yet.
No simple yoga, no deep bends then complain that my leg is still weak.
Frustration speaking. Bored out of my mind with training routine.
Everybody have a good afternoon,evening,night.

Mobook, you've come a long way and it is good to see you back on your feet.

Did a semi march this morning, just on the sidewalk in front of my apartment.
No cane, lifted toes higher, sweating like a pig. Only marched /walked 5-7 minutes the first time.
But at least I feel like I accomplished something.
Will do it again before it gets hotter than blue blazes.
Think the humidity is something like 89% and going higher.
Barometeric pressure is something like 35% and going higher. Muggy day.
Strawberry has come in finally, sprawled out on the floor.

I already knew about the sling thing. I used it on a baby bull I got at stock yards. They were kicking him all over the place and I was cussiing them out and bought the bull for $6. Had 5 grandkids with me so we loaded him into back seat floorboard.
He made it about a month and #360 later I drowned him in my bathroom trying to feed him with feeder and it wen in wrong way into his lungs instead of stomach.
Lucky got to where he couldn't stand up so I called my neighbor to help me get him into house to feed him. He made a sling to carry now dairy bull about 200 lb.s.
He never got his mothers colestrom so he died and I had a bull in our bathroom till hubby came home.
